@Lianas1980 : I feel that. TV nowadays is truly shit. I live in Japan. Trust me, I know. It's all bullshit Japanese comedians who think they're funny. They're NOT. Or, even if you don't live here, it's a bunch of sit-com rejects who couldn't do it in the 90s but wish they could've, so they take that crappy art to this age.
These cartoons - He-Man, She-Ra, Thundercats etc. and The A-Team, Airwolf, The Greatest American Hero. These were kind of my staple. We need more of that.
She-Ra was my dream girl when I was 17! Yes, I watched her when I was a senior in High School lol. The real girls at school just couldn't compare to the Princess of Power :)
Just give She-ra's sword to Cheasley Clinton and she'll become the new She-Ra and fight the evil forces of Sarh Palin and Bristol Palin and finally take those bitches down!
I never watched this show back in the day because, well, "it was for girls". Which is too bad, because it looks like it was a little better than He-Man. Oh well.
We just may need She-Ra to do hold aloft her sword once more in the fall of 2012 to combat the evils of Sarah Palin! Maybe the Princess of Power can finally be the one to take that bitch down.
whoo boy nostalgia time for me. I ca remember asking mom to rent this over and over time and again to watch this. I think I still have a She-Ra and Swift Wind figure somewhere in the attic. . .
At 0:26 when you first hear the intro to the She-Ra theme, I still get goosebumps hearing it after all these years. Hell, I remember watching this on TV when it was still on and thinking how awesome this was.
@dokboy77 Well I get all excited every time the He-Man theme starts. Don't get me wrong, I love twin sister but she can't get w/twin brother. He-Man started ALL the spin-offs. 1st came He-Man, then She-Ra, then Thundercats, then Silverhawks. I love ALL of those cartoons...DAMN!! Don't even get me started. So many memories!!
I always thought Adora (simple drawing style with red and white colors) was better looking than she-ra whose design I thought was too busy. I would've switched the transformation around. Just my opinion.
I remember coming up with that theory when I was young. But I still stick to it cuz I recon Im right, haha.
Oh, and I bet you pretended sometimes to transform into her outfit instead of He-man's,at least once ;o)
He-Man's transformation was boring in comparisson and was over in a flash (literally). I always loved pausing She-Ra's when she was half changed. Top half she-ra and legs Adora.
You know why the 2002 He-Man cartoon sucked?:
No She-Ra! :(

You think this is where Japan got the idea for Magical Girls?
BunnaySango 8 months ago
@BunnaySango First Magical Girl manga: 1962. First Magical Girl anime: 1966. First transforming Magical Girl: 1973. She-Ra premiere date: 1985.
I think the answer is "no", unless time travel is involved :D

Its to symbolize it being used for the 1st time!!!
It happens when She-Ra says "Skull" and the sword starts flashing.
