how can anyone compare this minor setback in the PS3 to XBOX 360's RROD? i've had a PS3 since about 3 months after its release and had no major problems with it thus far. meanwhile, i got a 360 less than a week and a half ago and got the RROD ....... He was deployed for 1 year to iraq no one used his PS3 came back home just to turn on his PS3 and get the yellow light of death. So when your one year warranty is over Sony will charge you. Which sucks, not trying to defend the xbox 360 but you have to realize some PS3's do die. So what happens then?

Actually gaming on PCs kinda suck as well... Because (1) you have to have powerful up-to-date computer to run most of the newer games and therefore the game isn't always guaranteed to run on your system, (2) sometimes they freeze and crash, (3) there's usually a lot more bugs in the PC version. And several more reasons like the controls usually being harder to maneuver. You don't really have any of those problems with consoles. However, PC games are easier to pirate :-P

It had something to do with the older systems' BIOS chips thinking that 2010 was a leap year and that messed with the OS software, and also with their servers when you tried to connect to the PSN. (The newer "slim" systems didn't have this bug in their BIOS chips which is why some people were still able to play)

You would encounter the same problems with the xbox if anyone decided to pay the extra $100(ps3 is free =) along with internet services) our controller doesnt require batteries, is lighter, and the joysticks arent fucked up, and finally the less people with mics, the less shit i hav to listen to wen im tryin to talk to my friends
