I've never played Soul Reaver or Blood Omen but when I looked at the sword I knew they were connected. And the vampire's name was Cain..Legacy of Cain..how are the two games connected??

dude really your gonna have to play the entire series, the story is VERY VERY complex. And on top of that, this game is from an alternate paradox of reality generated from the previous installments, which is why some lines don't add up in it if you tried to match the points. I have played all of the legacy of Kain games, save the first blood omen, but i knew the background story of it but didn't get the chance to play it, which is why i dove head first into soul reaver.

you actually have telekenesis then jump on him 4 times immolate him 4 times and berserk on him twice before he finally dies!

And what's funny: Janos who should be the greatest of the vampires always ends up bad: First he gets killed by the knights in soul reaver, now he gets tossed out there by the sarafan lord and he gets corrupted by raziel's master in legacy of kain deviance

I think it was even mentioned in Soul Reaver or some game that the pale light of Nosgoth's sun wasn't enough to hurt powerful and older vampires. I believe.

I got to Magnus, beat him, then saved.

About a week later I took my memory card to a friends house and lost it.

So, I got all the way to the next boss being The Sarafan Lord (I think) and I lost all my progress. :-(
