I dig it..lots of the styles I find are for shorter locs, and hard for me to pull off, but this style is very doable for long locs and work appropriate. Very nice!

I have a bit of a dilemma. I've tried this style and it my locs are a little bit longer. When I make the pony tail I have to use more hair than normal. So when I put it in the ponytail and tuck it it's still too long. I've tried making a bigger bun, which has helped some? Any suggestions?

This is awesome. My locs are a little longer and braided right now so instead of using a hair elastic I secured my ponytail with my own braid. I find elastics pull and give me a headache so this is a good alternative.

Did a modified version on my daughter. I had to tie a black shoelace around the bun to make it all stay. Her locs are fatter and between long and medium. I put two mini spider clips on the side too to hold some of them in place. But it turned out just like yours only smaller.

Your hair would probably have to be a lil bit past the shoulders because you need to have enough hair to wrap around the folded over ponytail.

Very lovely. My locs are not as long as urs or MsButterfli's, but gettin' rid of using those pesky hairpins is certainly worth knowing. I love your vids girl! There's a style that I've seen some sistahs wearin'...the bun look..it always looks so neat and perfect. Fauryn78 in her latest vid "chrome yellow" wears this bomb style, I think it's so sexy and sophisticated.
