My iPhone 3g suddenly stopped working as a phone. It is not reading my sim card anymore and just gives me signal bars. And sometimes just says "no service" or "no sim installed" If anyone can help me, please contact me for a fix. It is running version 3.1 and was unlocked with BlackRa1n. THANKS!

if i buy an iphone 3g off ebay.....and i jailbreak it and install yellownsn0w, do i still need an old sim or can i just put an old sim in? because if i buy one of ebay it wouldnt have a contract...so would this still work?

I tried this site: (iPhoneUnlock3G. Net) and it worked! Fast, easy and no problems!

This Method does not work for 2.2.1 firmware and there is no solution yet for this firmware if u wanted to use any sim u have to use with turbosim
