Would you believe I stayed and trained in the desert deliberately so I could hear this awesome track play nonstop? It's the perfect level up music. :D
@Flegan777 So did I. I even fought the worm titano when Adol, Dogi, Aisha, and Mustafa were around Lv. 26 (Training while hearing the song). No luck though.
@Flegan777 Around what Level should the team be? Where I'm at, the characters are around Lv. 42. I just beat the Earth Dragon and going to the Fire Dragon.
@TurboBlaze100 Level 42? I think you should be able to defeat with that much power. Just get a finisher ready and avoid the quicksand pits he makes. If you want, wait till you finish up the Fire Dragon so you can get Mustafa's upgraded finisher (it does insane damage).
@driftersoul I didn't find Ys7's story that good\epic.Besides,in "shooters" also happens truly epic stories-Call of Duty aside(because that's not epic, but rather moronic),there is Half-Life series,Deus Ex from what I heard also has good story
When you first come out of that dank, dreary cave with its ominous music, and this blasts into your ears while the camera pans over the desert scenery... my town had homeland security on backup on account of how hard I flipped out.
@doombybbr to each his own but i think thats a bit of a shallow view point. there are LOADS of great games out there if you look past whats thrown in your face.
@Croyles that is mostly if you live in japan - I live in an area where people have not even heard of DISGAEA so there is very little info on good games for me, but in general people seem to be overly obsessed with graphics and they don't seem to care so much about gameplay.
@doombybbr Mostly if you live in Japan? I still disagree. Mass Effect has some real substance. Then you have some great downloadable title such as Limbo, Flower, Shadow Complex. Some very creative big titles such as LittleBigPlanet and Infamous. I don't want to go through the whole list but there are a lot for all platforms!
I agree that a lot of people put too much emphasis on graphics, but you can't deny the wow factor of a good looking game, as long as it doesn't detract from the gameplay.
@P0ko4Sh0 i find that hard to believe its a disgrace to the name Final Fantasy shame that you have nothing else to do than to talk smack... im not trying to start a fight but can we just listen to some good music... oh and Final Fantasy XIII has a huge fan base in europe and stuff so cmon dude to me i think its so amazing in everything and i pre-ordered XIII-2 its just a game too lets not get mad about something we dont like in a game
@pablopablobonilla You sound like an idiot, that's about it. If I hated FF13, so what. Who cares about europe, maybe if you said Japan it would have mattered. I just said the game sucked, I'm glad I got you to type out a paragraph about nothing, though.
@pablopablobonilla I have to agree with the other guy. FF13 is an awful game which takes about 20 hours to get past the tutorial. You only get to control one character at a time, which is a TOTAL JOKE for an RPG. And it's ridiculously long. Most people who play it get bored and stop before the end. My friends who played it also found the storyline so bloody confusing that they just gave up entirely.
@DGneoseeker1 In America ....its full of opinions....so i wont argue .. all i have to say is ...yes it was hard for me to get the story of XIII but eventually i did get something... and im sure there was something about XIII you like right? i enjoyed it ...i fully payed of XIII-2 im pumped to play it when it releases here in the states and i appreciate your comment at least you didnt say square is (imput curse word here) or any other word
@pablopablobonilla Well, I tried the game but the only good thing I have to say about it is that the graphics are pretty. It pales compared to something like Final Fantasy 6 (FF3 in the USA). Now, if they'd remake FF6 using the graphics of FF13, THAT would kick ass. FF13 wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't locked you into only being able to control one character in battle. In an RPG that's just crazy.
@DGneoseeker1 i hear ya... i agree that we should be able to use all three.* remember who the director is ...i completely blame him for the inablility to use all three charachters... the lack of people in the game and the no town thing.... but even though those stuff was never in there i still liked the game alot *i have put in 128 hours into it*... but i think you know tetsuya namura... hes the best.. he is the director of versus XIII and that game will have towns world map people cars airships
Ys Seven soundtrack breaks away from the traditional medieval style orchestrations and surpasses any video game soundtrack from any RPG.
I hope I don't get hated for this but I think the composer for this game surpasses Uematsu's compositions.

@Flegan777 Cool. Thanks. I'll try it. By that time, the team should be around the high 40's.

@TurboBlaze100 Should be. When I challenged him later, he couldn't so much as dent my HP beyond 1-20 damage. XD
