Question - PS2 Game in a PS3?

actually if u go to playstation store then add on , disk based add ons then look for the playstation 2 data then download its free. but i heard that the ps2 games mess up the playstation 3

i got the ps3 80gb im in canda and the ps2 games work just fine on it

the last PS3's to have PS2 compatibility was the 80gb which were first produced back in august 2007 , they are no longer in production

the 80gb & 160 gb PS3's only have 2 usb ports

these are still in production

60gb playes ps2 and ps1 games but 40gb 80gb and the new 160 gb dont i herd they are bringin out a software so that we finnaly can play our mgs 1,2,3 or resident evil 1,2,3,4

that'll be bullshit if that happens.. that means i wasted my time getting a second hand 60GB version when i had enough to get that limited edition 160GB version. Sony have become so inconsistent its unbelievable

yeh i know i only had a 40gb and my bro has a 60 when i want to play my mgs 3 on there it dont work i treid everything like updates and connectin to the internet but still nothin

yeah.. whats wrong with it tho? i played MGS3 on my 60GB and the only problem is that it cant read my save files I converted.. cant be fucked to get back what i completed.. i might aswell go and buy the limited edition MGS3 Subsistence
