It's unfortunate that the particular rendering of the Level 11 music for this video isn't very good - the Io Sulfur Mine track is supposed to sound a little better than that and not just be a series of alarms.
The YouTube video at this particular link has a better rendition, in my opinion, which should allow anyone to have a more clear listen to the track:
