  • what are ur thoughts on this being a system incapable of keeping up with the rate of technological development, being static and unable to change, a mechanism for WAR PROFITEERING? what is it about an RBE model that u fear so much and willing to defend ur counrty against but aint willing to rise up against the current System thats destorying our species and Earth's Life Supporting Systems left and right?

  • Very interesting, specially the beggining part, but didnt quite vision it towards the end, on the transition part is shalow. Imagine this: The purpose of life is self realization. The development of the self at 3 levels: physical, mental, and spiritual. Everyday presents us with the unique opportunity to better our selfs at the 3 levels. But our economic system prevents us from this. If a fund was created to liberate a selected few from the money slaving chains and the results would free us all.

  • @kawikaseri The transiton part being shalow: think of it as a digital map zooomed out to see the globe. It keeps in mind the overal picture but not very useful as a guide towards your destination. I can go more detail, analogous to zooming in on a map, giving specific step by step instructions on how to live their daily lives. But I rather people think for themselves and find their own path, using this lecture as conceptual only. I will put out more videos soon with more elaboration. Oskar

  • @tysoneberly I'd like to volunteer my time to develop an online social network to connect the emerging RBEs and the people involved in them. Inbox me.

  • Blah, blah, blah... nice talking, but it is again just a crappy ideology, it won't work and I hope we'll defend our countries even from someone trying to implement this shit.

  • @baskytarista ha ha ha!

  • @baskytarista know the word I-G-N-O-R-A-N-T?

  • @baskytarista and what is it that u would like to have implemented if not an RBE, do support the current paradigm or do u not? what do u think should be done given the current rate of resource consumption with total disregard for the state of the Earth's Life Supporting Systems (Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, Biosphere) and the total disregard for human life that is OBVIOUSLY PROFIT DRIVEN, what is thoughts that the current economic paradigm is inherently flawed and obsolete?

  • WE DECIDE ON HOW LONG WE PLAY - thats a damn good way of looking at our world.

  • Excellent approach, I'm only 10 minutes in and I can see this is a great way of looking at the implementation of such a big change in our society. He is exactly right, you have to discuss how you came to your conclusions before offering the truth to others, or else others will quickly judge how you came to that conclusion and because fear/skepticism is so dominant today amongst the majority, they assume it is similar to what they have experienced in the past.. which is usually not so good..

  • @GloryAtWill no, the approach is still the same. In first ten minutes speaker is giving you some obvious examples to make you agree with him in general and then he continues speaking about other things not so obvious but you have your imagination of truthful speaker, so he can gain over you easier.

  • @baskytarista Sounds like more skepticism to me... jeeze, idunno one thing is for sure, I trust myself and YouTube a lot more then anything you'd find on TV or in magazines .. which happens to be what people spend most of their free time doing.. kind of odd.

  • If it were to be instilled into the culture through school, media and entertainment that globally women should only have babies after the age of 23, 24, would that solve the problem of overpopulation?

  • @longslidenyc Overpopulation is not a real problem. The earth can technically support more than 100+ billion folks. Our current population doesnt even scratch the surface of that.

  • @McDonaldsHero yes, you are true, I think we might find some more place in Siberia for all those billions of people.

  • I found that very refreshing! Very rational, systematic in approach, and interesting!

  • some great suggestions.i think the network of friends idea is very solid. food production is a place where alot of ground can be made i.e. making and sharing food, or on a larger scale constructing farms (automated?) to feed people for free. this would help eliminate one use of money which is what its all about really - removing the need for money.

  • Great work! This provides me such a straight forward and logical way of responding when people ask me about the transition. And best of all, it does not depend on persuading corrupt politicians to implement the transition from the top down. I think change can only really work if it comes from the bottom up, which this proposal certainly does.

  • Slides had a few grammatical errors every now and then but the easy to understand wording and empirical perspective on the various examples you brought up in the first half completely made up for it. The final solution is extremely viable if done properly. A website sounds like an amazing way to keep things like this organized.

  • @XSilvenX lol thanks for the honesty :)

  • Long but informative. Should be a must see for all Zeitgeisters and potential followers.

  • Excellent. Non compliance as best you can with the monetary system is transition.

  • I have much to contribute as I have my own personal matters to take care of. But, I see myself jumping into the movement at a later date, and to think that what I'd actually be jumping into wouldn't just be a Chapter organization but the actual germination of the resource based economy itself, seems really cool to me. Anyways, I get really inspired by this stuff and I thought it was a great video, and hopefully one day I'll be sitting at a chapter meeting like the rest of TZM members.

  • members would want to be the first to participate in a resource based economy, I just had never thought about the fundamental practices of a resource based economy taking place within the chapters themselves. I guess I had thought about circular cities being built and then the Venus Project beggining. But, it makes sense and is also really really cool, lol. I'm not a part of TZM. But, I keep myself up to speed with the movement pretty much every few days or so. I don't feel right now that

  • Hey, I thought this was a pretty good video. I think clarifying 'proper discussion procedures', I guess you could say, is really important especially when engaging new people. So I thought that was really great that you point out where problems go wrong and how to solve them. I also wanted to say that I thought it was really cool how you pointed out of the network of the Zeitgeist Movement itself could essentially become the begginings of a Resource Based Economy. I obviously knew that TZM

  • Excellent job, Tyson! I've been trying to find a means to explain the Zeitgeist Movement more streamlined in North Houston (...and you thought there weren't any advocates in Houston...). :D Thanks, bro...will be circulating this vid, man. Peace out!

  • Amazing. This is what has been lurking in my mind but the clear presentation activated my understanding. Thanks!

  • This is EXACTLY what we needed. :-)
