@rainorchid11 I've found that coconut oil from the grocery store works pretty well as a makeup remover for waterproof mascara. Works nicely as a moisturizer, too.

my lashes curl just fine and then about an hour later I lose the curl. I've tried your method and the heated lash curlers and still I lose the curl later. But then I never apply more than one coat, I don't like that heavy look, my lashes are very long and full and if I wear too much mascara it looks VERY obvious and everybody notices my eyes and comments. I don't like that much attention and to actually have it pointed out. Even if my eyes look beautiful, really I dont want to hear it.

Also, my biggest problem with mascara is the transfer that (no matter what brand I've tried, from Dior Blackout WATERPROOF to a japanese brand called Fairy Drops Platinum) always transfers to the bottom of my eyes....it's sad because they work with my eyelashes but never my eyes. :(

wow thanks!!! i never thought about your eyelashes having oil. I mean i should of known since your hair will produce oil and if you haven't washed it the previous day you will see it in your hair. eyelashes are shortest on the ends and the inner corner of your eye has the shortest lashes. With that said, when you use the curler, put it over the lash line the way Koren describes but shift it to the outer end of your eye. This will catch the hairs on the side and should avoid pain. Hope that helps.

If you have a clean (possibly old?) mascara wand or a mascara spooly you could use it once you've applied the clear mascara so that it will help seperate the lashes

I have that problem too sometimes :D

Brush your lashes with a lash brush before applying the clear mascara. You can even use a heated lash curler first, then seperate the lashes with a brush, apply the clear and curl with a regular curler again. It will take a little time but it will be worth the look.
