  • The repeating pencil frame gives it away as artificial. Not that it matters, since the uploader never claimed it to be anything else. Still a cool look.

  • this isn't rotoscoping at all. Is it?

  • Cool Stuff !!!

  • Looks like some clever work in AE. Three or four frame loop of the charcoal effect blended on top, and masks for the backgrounds and color.

  • @thecheatisnotdead42 yeah, some people can't distinguish between hand drawn work and cheap filters.

  • 1st: its great

2nd: how did you do this, by printing out the frames and painting over them ? or some program ? it looks like a program because the lines of the frame are repeating. i think i would have used Studio Artist for it...

  • I'm having hard time trying to believe it's manually drawn. It looks like this has been done on a computer, but I may be wrong :P .

  • great stuff

  • goooooooooooooooood....

  • I love the red vs. blue. Was there anything specific that made you pick these two colors? I find that 'red vs. blue' shows up in many animated films, especially in anime.

  • opposites?

  • Deathnote: L and LIght ;)

  • cool

  • great

  • Did you used little of the filmed material faded in with the rotoscoped or did you painted all these shadings and stuffs on the characters? great anyways :D

  • Great Scene, great film, great rotoscoping job.
