One thing I'd wish Apple's competetorts would copy is their pacakaging style. Simple, minimal and environmentally friendly. I mean, look how tacky the packaging around the laptop itself looks, never mind the mass of cardboard structure inside the box. The machine it self looks nice, but the box it comes in leaves something to be desired. Packaging hasn't changed since the 90's, it's just bunches of plastic and cardboard all over the place lol.

I think Apple makes great laptops, but I don't think I can get used to using Macs after using PCs for so long. I think for people like me, Sony Vaio is the way to go. They have variety of colors for their series, as well as the isolated keyboards that people like so much on Macbooks (but this is all purely based on the exterior appearances and designs, I'm not too knowledgeable in the technical specs of computers themselves).

If you really like to buy a performance notebook, go for alienware. Expensive but worth it. I have an area 51 m15x and i just bought their area-51 x58 and its awsome!! I used these for my 3d applications,renderings,games, etc., soo smooth. Sony viao sucks! Apple is better but Alienware is the best!
