  • 7:13 ICE COLD.

  • the us lost vietnam...and they say they won it

  • @koolrabbit100 Go learn some history you dumb mother fucker. The United States didn't win nor lose. We never say we won nor lost. It was a political disaster that the people, U.S. citizens, didn't agree with. So shut the fuck up.

  • Actually England dont beg for help, because the us asked England if we would help them in the Iraq war, and England said yes.

  • i love my contery but vietnam was a horrible mess that we shouldn't have gotten into

  • Who is all in this video

  • Quite powerful.

  • "5.56 all in my brain"

That's the VC version of Purple Haze.

  • Not much begging for American help these days Leon...

  • you say fuck usa and beg for our help, go fuck your self

  • @leonl1231 LOL , the americans asked for help for the war in iraq , its the same as the french did back then in vietnam , Vietnam was a french colony , if you would see , the first roots of the vietnam war date back from the beginning of the second world war , AKA the Viet-Minh

  • fuck USA and all your wars. peace

  • this just makes me sad

  • wow this realy shows you what war is like

  • @danielmedina630 I'll like too see that idiot fight in combat and endure everything the "dumb military men" did in Vietnam...Saying stuff like that could end up in a military coup xD

  • @0gii Don't worry about that, those guys got caught and are going to face the music, Those idiots are just helpin the enemy by doing that...more propaganda that Taliban and groups could use to denounce the U.S military, but I guess the heat got to those heads, guess they wanted to add insult to injury to their dead enemy-combatants.

  • When I see those pictures...and read in the newspaper that U.S. Troops PISS on the corpse of muslims...I feel nothing but anger.

  • @0gii Yeah? Well in Vietnam the VC did much worse to our dead than just piss on them, something they did on a regular basis. Grow up and get over it. Throughout history War has never been for the faint hearted, it is either shit or get off the pot.

  • Great video -- thanx for posting!

  • @deathandhades1 You must have had by far too much spare time on your hands if you were fingering your navel and worrying about all that shit. Never known a fighting grunt who gave a fuck about anything other than his buddies and just staying alive.

  • @deathandhades1

LOL! Standard bullshit from a no-answer dumbass. I recon I have fought in places you have just read about.

  • @TheGambitsam Lol. Nicely said bud.

  • whats the song like in the background ish. let meh know.

  • the way i see it is we vets of the sand box owe a grate debit of thanks to Vietnam vets because all tho our war is a very unpopular one the people still support the solders and thos coming home . and i believe that is because of the lessons learned at their expense.

So thank you for your sacrifice

  • like if YOU think so too.

i respect these soliders more than any for two reasoni kno

1.the were fighting against someone with out a uniform and normally wars are fought against uniforms. i think thats tough when fighting some1 with civilian cloths

2.a HUGE majority were in there 20's if not barely out of there 30's and just getting out of high school and college, starting there new lives and the majority were drafted thanks to all of you that was in this war "Y" (peace sigh in finger)

  • @shakedownstreet48 More room on deck for the American sympathizers

  • I always hated to see those huey;s thrown over board, they saved so many American lifes

and they were thrown over for a bunch of refugees. I just never understood that.

  • qual a musica no 03:19?

  • Well done.

    Great video.

It made me cry thinking of those 55K we left behind.

  • song at 3:10?

  • @assassin1695 "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield.

  • @assassin1695 Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth

  • song at 3:10?

  • if he believed that why did he order for more and more young men to go there?

  • The Vietnam war was young men dieing, so that the big wigs in politics and corporations could make billions off of the natural resources in Vietnam. This happened at the expense of young Americans and Vietnamese lives...

  • @ZachTommyGunThompson Vietnam was ground zero for the war between the United States vs Soviet Union and China. The North Vietnamese were the bodies Soviets and Chinese used but all the weapons came out of Soviet Union & China. It was part of the cold war.

  • stop listening to the tv ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • War, huh

    what is it good for?

    Absolutely nothin'!

  • Bridge over Troubled Water

  • What drives a man to pull the trigger on a man which his hands are bound..........

  • @g240kelly looks bad, but that guy he shot killed innocent people.

  • @k9griffin9 thats just racist. no need fo it foo' :(

  • The voice at the end is of our former president johnson. sheepshifta, being navy, you know. We went to general quarters about one mile off the coast of vietnam in july of 68, from the gunmount door on the back of the destroyer, you could see the smoke drift across the water towards our ships surface. It choked you and burnt your eyes for abitt. you get the picture.

  • So fucking terrible, I hate war!

But sure those anti-vietnam war songs are my favorites, damn they are amazing.

They just have this jungle like feel to it.

i'm 15 and I have no idea what this war was like.

But I'm sure it was terrible.

    I just couldn't stand 7:10

  • Lame stream media when I was growing up. They learned it did not profit them to air their war mongoring on TV. It was supposed to be loved by us. This is how the devils think, they think everyone is like them. Blood thirsty bastards. You kids are being lied to now days with that TV, turn it off. Stop buying stuff. Buy local made in USA. LBJ and his wife were jews and jews have run the whitehouse ever since. lies lies lies lies

  • @k9griffin9 Queer bag.

  • 7:13 that's what hate does to a man, killing so coldly.

  • tears...

  • True heros, and im british and outstanded with vthe bravery of thoose men

  • Vietnam was horrible alltogether. All those great men we lost. So young and willing to give their lives without a second thought. It hits me close to home being Navy, though I don't touch land as often as my other fellow brothers in arms, it's always sad to see. Not to mention being a father and seeing those chilling clips of babies laying dead in their mothers arms. I don't know what me or my wife would do if anything like that happened to our 2 year old son. R.I.P victims of Vietnam.

  • This video blew my mind, just like Platoon did...

  • lol i was looking for the song the us played on the vox system during the vietnam war...

  • 1:57 I saw this scene so many times, but I can not understand why the men threw the helicopter from the ship

  • @MrSovjetunion To make room for more UH’s.Flight deck limitations. Anyway, most were time spent and would be scrapped.

  • @MrSovjetunion it was at the end of the war they needet space on their ships to carry the refugees

  • @blubb92883 It was not the end of the War, that is a popular misconception. What you are referring to was the evacuation from Saigon, and there were mighty few refugees.Practicaly everyone held a passport from a western country. The fighting continued after the Anti-Communist popular front was established in 75.It went on as a guerilla campaign until it just finally petered out in 79.

  • whats the name of the first song

  • vietnamese love peace but if any forces army invade my country, we will fight against it , although it is biggest army

  • This is soo sad :((

  • I Hate War -.-

  • Excellent job of telling a horrifying story. Why do we not remember? Instead we repeat the same insanity in Afghanistan, Iraq and so many other places.

  • @jcwbonanza69

Because War itself has no memory every generation must get out there and find its own.

  • @westernmike Well said, makes sense. Thank you for that.

  • remember on the news last year where north korea shelled a south korean island.obama said if there was war than the u.s would back south korea.im was 18 last year so i was like o shit im going to be drafted and end up there.

  • 2:30 AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

  • I Remember Vietnam......

  • R18

  • What version is this "Eve of Destruction"?

@PinkFloydLovers, Stop hey Whats that sound?, Riders of the Storm (The Doors)

  • No disrespect but when we pulled out, we left our Allies high and dry. Millions were killed and the North assumed command of the South, so what did our troops die for? Just saying, lets start asking why instead of just accepting what our elected officials tell us.

  • There are good and bad people on all sides of all wars. But what the Us did in vietnam was a crime, it was genocide. They killed 2 million men women and children. Kids are still dying in the southeast asia because of US bombies. Napalm on civs. Nazi-style torture against vietnamese.... The NVA was no better, but at least they were on their own land.

  • And 05:57

  • @PinkFloydLovers

The Doors - Riders of the storm

  • Whats the song at 03:11

  • @PinkFloydLovers

Buffalo Springfield - For What Its Worth

  • I hate how kids today think that Black Ops tells the legacy of the 60s and they think it's just one big war game. It may be, but there's really more to it.

  • i saw the war trough the sights of an m16 but i cant explain what happend in that war, i saw my best friend die from a bullet to the brain and the people in washington just sit there and watch i may have seen war from the front line but after all my years of service i came to one answer this shi* never ends

  • Excellent job! That must have taken a while to edit ;>

  • 'To know war is to know there is still madness in this world'

  • I loved the war gear and time period. Don't get me wrong, war is horrible. But the style of the war was amazing.

  • AND USA LOST

  • Its sad to know these vets came home from Nam not getting any thank yous' that they deserved. So thank you grandad for your service in Nam. Thank you great grandad and dad for your service. Thank you vets in any war especially the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. You guys truly deserve it.

  • This is the best video I've ever seen on the Vietnam War! Plus the music is great too. Good job!

  • hey Lynbon! STOP THIS SHIT!!! YOU ARE NOT GONNA WIN THIS! I wish someone would tell the president that. I mean there was no chance they could win that war, sure the americans had tanks and shitloads of bombing planes stuffed with napalm and gigantic bombs, so what? The vietnamese were in their territory, they had traps, and lots of them, enough to kill an entire army, thousands of young men with great future in front of them where forced into that deathhole.

  • @StevO1942 Yes but my grandfather served in ww2 korea and vietnam and all these war always leads to the common conclusion choas

CHOAS IS WAR war never changes

  • i was in nam, 67-68 told family iraq would be another nam befor it started, dont we ever learn??

  • @ronpjlane You were right sir.

  • my friends uncle was on the protest comity in his university during that war.said that half the men on the commity were fresh back from viet-nam

  • Some of the most famous photos of our american history can be seen here

  • @Whalen84 This is realy a great movie. Thanks!

  • WITHOUT A DOUBT THE VIETNAM WAR WAS THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THAT GENERATION.

  • my grandpa in the tet offensive january 28,1968

  • I'm not pro Vietnam war or against it. I'm just intrested in this theme. Great montage!

  • This is amazing !! nice job.

  • @MightyPoggers The original line from Full Metal Jacket, and I quote : " How can you shoot women and children, like that ??? Its Easy; I just don't lead them as much !!! " This quote was taken from the book Dispaches by Michael Herr.

  • omg is there somebody on fire at 1:22 or am i just really stoned

  • @moker420 yes it was a monk who was proving a point in south vietnam

  • There isn't Vietnamese comment .

  • 1990 was when the vietnam war ended for me.

    -Philip Caupto

  • hey , you all do realize there cant be only 1 side to this ad story right ?

alot of innocent vietnamese were killed , so before you think yeh poor american vets

    think again

  • @dreakheart to make such a comment you have to be on BOTH sides of that fence....which, as your comment shows, you were not...I saw it...you are wrong.
