I remember when MTV first aired. It was a whole different world in those days. Now it's mostly reality TV. *sigh* I remember watching The Young Ones, Liquid Television, The Maxx, and The State in between some great videos.

I remember one of MTV's logos use to be a beating heart with like a dagger in it. when i first started watching mtv my mom asked my older brother if the channel was ok for me. now its all fairys and pink icing cupcakes. we witnessed the death of a network as well as an era, for that matter.
