So, just curious, but when you record, is the studio computer recording while your laptop is playing the song through the little monitor, or how exactly do you run your set-up that way.

Reason for asking is because I've got my studio gear now in a control room different from my live room, and I'm wanting to get back into covers, so I'm trying to figure out exactly how to run everything with only myself to run it all.

I do love how you did all of this but I still wonder how you didn't hear that the second kick pedal snapped? Unless you were so into-it that you didn't notice. I am not criticizing at all. I am truly asking a question as I am in a band and do several different instruments but not drums. I was hoping to get some insight. I know my two drummers like me on keyboards or on bass guitar but the other variables I can only learn from the sessions I record... I wonder if they notice when/how they mess up
