I new neighbor has a Chow, it seems to be really vicious. I'm so sick of her talking about the color of it's tongue. It has to be the dumbest f'ing dog on the planet. My question is...are they even trainable? I bet she's given that stupid dog the same command at least 10,000 times and it still don't get it. They typically have their own agenda and think you should fetch your own ball and stick. They are experts at playing dumb and they have no intention of being your servant. Most people don't deserve to have one. You need to be as special as this breed is.
I think they look better as a puppy. My problem was with the neighbors dog. It was as stupid as it could possibly be...yet....she insists that the dog talked to her in english and would have conversations with her and remind her to take her medication....she said it refused to talk unless the two of them were alone...go figure. I guess they never talked about the dangers of playing on the highway.

Loved the video. My chow has always been sweet. Never growled or even tried to bite anyone! Everyone loves her. She's a very social girl and loves company. Gets along with my other dog and cats.

exactly right, ours is so stubbon (or lazy!) he lays byn the kitchen door and you ahve to push him open with the door, lucky hes so fluffy he just glides across the floor!

my French teacher has one. i think she thinks its cute.and shz so stupid she named it furby but she spells it like firby i dont like chow chows i DO like hounds like coonhounds, beagles or bloodhounds.
