Everyone was searched going in and bags had to be opened. The dude who felt me up totally grasped my Canon Powershot in my pocket. My phone too. He didn't even blink or comment. I guess they were only looking for weapons. Inside, plenty of people were recording and taking pictures in front of event staff. No one cared.
