Very cool. Show me such a device that has an A4 or letter-sized display (14" diagonal), decently responsive touchscreen, and one that can view pdfs I upload to it from either my computer or maybe from a USB thumb drive, and I'd be all over that like nobody's business!

You are correct that it can't be used in the dark, but that's not really a drawback since generally people tend to work in fairly well lit places anyways, so this device exploits light that is probably at least nine times out of ten already present. And of course, a device could probably even have a perimeter-based front illumination for when it's really needed anyways, but at least it's not wasting power on lighting a display that likely isn't necessary most of the time.
