I have this for the GC and I think its a bit better than the wii version cause of all the sound effects they do on the remote piss me off so much when i play it at my friends house it drove me insane. but hopefully they can make the sword sound like a sword coming out of its sheath.

You can just mute the wiimote and all the sounds will come through the TV

Agree, I like Gamecube version because Hyrule isn't flipped left-to-right. And all those sound effects can be muted anyways.

it all depends which games for ps3 you like. I like final fantasy myself, but there aren't any on the system yet. Smash bros, Zelda and Mario Galaxy are definitely worth it buying the Wii!!

The TV is a 50 inch Plasma from Samsung. At the time I paid a lot because the TV's were a lot. If i were to buy again, i think i would get LCD...they are a little more expensive, but the quality is a bit sharper. Plasma's are good however. I'm in Canada, so i don't know what the prices are like elsewhere...but you can negotiate prices here in Best Buy
