Thank you. I've been natural now since 2006 after originally going natural in 1999 and texlaxing. I loved Qhemet for it's moisture. I think it's one of the better products if your hair is very dry like mine. Like you I've wondered why did I ever have a relaxer? Smh, lol.

I know pretty funny huh:) Fortuneately, I no longer struggle with split ends for two reasons, I mainly wear my hair in protective styles and because I'm really careful about keeping my ends sealed with shea butter.

Can you give us a rundown of the products you use and your routine. I have seen the inch braids and am planning on trying them since we seem to have a close hair type. I also get great definition of my curls with aloe, but it dries me out terribly. Thanks for the great videos.

Once a week I co-wash with a cheapie (trader joes brand) conditioner, then I shampoo my roots with Qhemet Cleansing tea, I then deep condition with Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle or Aubrey Organics GPB condtioner- I use a heat cap for 30 min to 1 hr. I moisturize with my concoction of grape seed oil/aloe/glycerin (more glycerin than anything else). I seal my ends with Shea butter. I style my hair in two strands or inch braids. I henna every month.

my hair looks like yours, just that it's shorter. You know were I come from black women will never go natural, it is a cultural thing, I'm from a latinamerican country and there's no way black women will go out withouth a relaxer, but I was in a seminar two years ago and the presenter said relaxer is the number one cause of brain tumors on african american women, I got scared and decided to go natural. I haven't relaxed my hair since 10/2007. I cut the last relaxed ends about two months ago.

You know what I'm going to take your advice and talk to my hair. But i really think my hair hates me ever since I've stopped relaxing my hair yrs ago and accepted it in its normal state it always breaks. I mean my hair should be at my mid back now.

Breakofdawn26 perhaps the problem is moisture. Glycerin works for some people and for some people the thing seems to be shea butter.

Thanks....I do like the QB, I think I would use the BRC more than the AOHC because it is a bit heavy. Sample sizes are always the way to go.

I use the Amla and Olive to seal in my moisturizers or on my hair the night before a shampoo. I hear that the burdock root butter cream is good for fine stranded hair :-}
