Hey everyone I'm really new to this Wii friend code stuff actually I'm lost I've added all of your numbers but it won't allow me to send no one mail....It also ask for a email to register people all I know is i want to play my games against other people and the only games I have online enabled are Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles or Just dance 2 please help me I would love any friends.

I love this game. It lets me go back to my favorite game, RE2, in modern graphics and on top of that they took the time to remix the same music while maintaining the some of the original voice actors. Nostalgia, baby!
yes u can all u do is connect both controllers and go on any chapter u have unlocked then choose p1's person then press 2 on p2's remote and it will say 'p2 has joined the game

I have a ps2 and ps3 , I have RE4, CODE VERONICA AND RE5 and I used to have RE 1, 2 ,3 FOR PSONE .. I dont have a nintendo wii so do you guys think it's worth purchasing one just to buy this game ? coz it does seem to be a nice game
Well this game and Umbrella Chronicles are both rail shooters. The screen moves itself and you just shoot at the zombies with the wiimote. If you like that type of game it's good but it's not like RE4.
If you really like Resident Evil though then you can also get the RE1 remake, RE0, and RE 4 Wii (which is the same as the PS2 but better graphics and the control). RE 0 & 1 archives for Wii are just straight ports so you could pick up the gamecube versions for cheaper and play them on the Wii.
i dont have RE but i have a friend that has all the movies and at school he plays resident evil so i just watch him and tryed a few times and i beat the first boss for him
iuts already out ding dong, it came out in europe on november 27th I bought it today, it is the best game I have ever played on and iv played alot, it some places its pretty easy but in other like the G boss is super hard, took me like 8 goes to kill that guy!
no its not its making it a hell of a lot better, because it is an original - arcade style shooter which makes it totally awesome and a hell of a lot harder wiv the occumpanying gun case

I agree with you. I bought RE4 for the PS2 and after getting so far through it, I thought this aint the same as the other RE's, they not Zombies anymore, some other weird creatures. Didn't like the fact that they come at me with a chainsaw. Was a little unfair me thinks.
even tho it would probably piss off all the other fans, i would like to see a resident evil with ALL the playable protagonists involved. well at least everyone who could make it with carlos, billy, and hunk (i kinda consider him important enough to be there) being most likely unavailable
They won't remake the games, simply because they were difficult (and games don't want something if it actually presents them with a CHALLENGE nowadays) and it would appeal only to the oldschool RE fans - which would displease all the people who just want cheesy action and muscles and not a proper survival horror game. And Capcom wants to please both crowds, which is nigh impossible.
Oh, and God forbid an RE game not have an over-the-shoulder camera angle. Save Chronicles, that's taboo now. ;(

there is nowhere to pre order it here but ill be happy to wait i still playing the first one, I'm stuck on the streets of raccoon city. just cant beat the worm thing. i run out of ammo and health, i hope in the second one they let you store things cos i pick plants up in the throws of killing when my health is full then its waisted
They do.They also set the computer to attack in some parts by itself, give wepons to other players, and set quick switch using arowkeys.If you need some more help you can upgrade your wepons more or through gernades in his mouth.I really hate how you cant quit levels.
They do. I preordered it and got it today. The handgun actually DOES something against bosses now, and you can store herbs. If it came down to just a handgun in Umbrella Chronicles, you were done for.
Quick tip, use the machinegun in that level. If it's not powerful enough, replay other levels to upgrade it.
unfortunatly i sold my wii :( i wish i haddent of :( this game looks good, the wii is a good computer but i have a ps3 so thought i wouldnt miss it.... but i do.....
I'm sorry to hear that, it's really worth it. They're cheaper now, maybe you should consider purchasing it again? I have both a Wii and a PS3 (you can't convince me to get a 360 - I'm not a Sony fan, I'm actually angry at them, but my dislike for Microsoft is stronger than my anger towards Sony) I bought my Wii just last month for the Chronicles games....besides Wii Sports, that's all I have.
I have no regrets. Then again, I'm an oldschool RE fan....
yeah I'm not an xbox fan at all or a Sony fan but ide never buy an xbox although I've had my PS3 beak down twice and had to take it back. its OK at the min i got a new one out of em. I'm a proper resident evil fan, i love the games but hate 4 and 5 as its not zombies and that's what i loved about resident evil. they have kind of gone off on a totally different thing with them two games. i will be buying a new wii but the black one. and buying chronicles 1 and 2 :) and the gun again.
Same. I hated 4 until I played 5, then I realized that 4 was actually very much like an RE game. The style was just different, but the horror elements were there. RE4 was still horror, just a different vein. RE5 was just plain terrible.
the gun is brilliant, it puts you more into the game and you can change the remote settings so you don't use the nunchuck so all you have is the gun plus it vibrates with each shot fired cos of the remote so it feels more real. and its twice as accurate shooting, only buy the handgun tho the big wii gun is rubbish, it looks and just feels wrong once you have tried the handgun plus its better for single hand shooting :)
@1rebelboy err yeah it was pal. its about a virus out break causing mutation and it brings dead flesh back to life hence zombies. resident evil is called bio hazard where it is made, meaning diseases and contamination and effects health of humans causing death but the t virus brings dead back. it is all about zombies pal and anyone that dont think so must be really dumb...... ZOMBIES PAL...... ZOM... BIE....ZZZZZZ.....
Easily, in this case. Games are so general now that it almost doesn't matter what system you pick up; the games will almost always be the same. I'm just as safe buying a 360 as I am buying a PS3 as far as game availability goes. But I prefer the PS3's user interface.
And it's an association thing from a long time ago. While I dislike Microsoft for technical reasons (such as warranty issues and the like, although Sony does the same thing), I strongly associate it with a negative image from years
Im really looking foreward to this game. The first one was alot of fun and really interesting to play. Just because it was a rail shooter it doesn't make it a bad game. There are loads of resident evil games to choose from. I personaly hate everything about RE4, so I haven't bought it. If you don't like this game then just forget about it. It doesn't alter the plot or ruin the characters and its just a bit of fun.
nice to see that developers are waking up to the fact that the wii is capable of better graphics than a PS2 :P
still. im not overly exited by this trailer. i love RE and will get this, but other upcoming games like resonance of fate look far more exiting than this.

It has shitty ass games and those are shovel ware which gives the Wii a bad name.Just don't buy the shovelware and buy it's REAL games and you'll find that it's awesome.I don't think the 360 or PS3

Actually the Wii gets Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles(Which is Resident Evil Zero,1, and 3) and even this new one Darkside Chronicles(which is Resident Evil 2, and Code Veronica) Exclusively on the Wii.
Rail shooters are so 90s and really died out with PSX and Saturn. I won't even be renting this. Hopefully Capcom actually listens to its fan base and starts working on an RE2 remake.

Yeah but still, it's not right in a RE game having your enemies running at you... and really, does EVERY weapon HAVE to have a laser pointer? and why does Irving and I think a few other people have the exect same gun as Chris and Sheva when they get like special military ones or whatever.
they didnt have zombies because well seriously think about it at least 2 zombie games come out every year, every single game company has at least five, also resident evil has been revolutionary for zombies every single game has added something to zombies so they probably thought of trying to introduce something new and then maybe sell it to other companies
It's...for the wii alone, and it'll be like Umbrella Chronicles; A rail-shooter. It's focused on RE2 and Code Veronica, but it's designed to look cooler, creepier, and is horror-focused :P
horror focused its what RE its all about, RE4 and 5 are just action games, who would get scare with nomal people with different color of skin, that want to kill you, RE 1,2,and 3 are better in the sense of horror
yea I agree with slagdar. Leon HAS 2 be in this game becuz he only had a profile but was never introduced as a main character in the umbrella chronicles. AND Claire also has 2 be in this game even more than Leon, becuz she wasn't even mentioned AT ALL in the umbrella chronicles!
They won't have 4, 4 has it's own version on wii by itself.
This seems to be focused on Resident Evil 2, it will probably involve other games like Code Veronica and Outbreak plus extra side senarios (like all of Weskers stories on Chronicals,) and an extra "Game" (like the final level on Chronicals, that was new) that owners of Resident Evil 5 will wish they had.
It's only fair, Res. 5 didn't come out for Wii, so something should come out for Wii and not PS3 or XBox.
i dont know why a bunch of people get all pissy about it being a rail shooter, its still fun, and its still challenging yea its not survival horror anymore but its still badass :)
it wont be anything like it, the genre is rail shooter, like those arcade games time crisis or house of the dead, but it will still be awesome regardless. NOW if they will just make anniversary editions of RE 2 RE nemesis and CVX with updated gfx id be happy lol

Easily, in this case. Games are so general now that it almost doesn't matter what system you pick up; the games will almost always be the same. I'm just as safe buying a 360 as I am buying a PS3 as far as game availability goes. But I prefer the PS3's user interface.
And it's an association thing from a long time ago. While I dislike Microsoft for technical reasons (such as warranty issues and the like, although Sony does the same thing), I strongly associate it with a negative image from years

Im really looking foreward to this game. The first one was alot of fun and really interesting to play. Just because it was a rail shooter it doesn't make it a bad game. There are loads of resident evil games to choose from. I personaly hate everything about RE4, so I haven't bought it. If you don't like this game then just forget about it. It doesn't alter the plot or ruin the characters and its just a bit of fun.

still. im not overly exited by this trailer. i love RE and will get this, but other upcoming games like resonance of fate look far more exiting than this.

Actually the Wii gets Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles(Which is Resident Evil Zero,1, and 3) and even this new one Darkside Chronicles(which is Resident Evil 2, and Code Veronica) Exclusively on the Wii.

Rail shooters are so 90s and really died out with PSX and Saturn. I won't even be renting this. Hopefully Capcom actually listens to its fan base and starts working on an RE2 remake.

oh so they're remaking re 1 and re 2 (this one) on wii. That's great because I think only 1, 2 and 3 were proper survival horror. and 5 and 6 are nothing to with the actual storyline.

yea I agree with slagdar. Leon HAS 2 be in this game becuz he only had a profile but was never introduced as a main character in the umbrella chronicles. AND Claire also has 2 be in this game even more than Leon, becuz she wasn't even mentioned AT ALL in the umbrella chronicles!

They won't have 4, 4 has it's own version on wii by itself.
This seems to be focused on Resident Evil 2, it will probably involve other games like Code Veronica and Outbreak plus extra side senarios (like all of Weskers stories on Chronicals,) and an extra "Game" (like the final level on Chronicals, that was new) that owners of Resident Evil 5 will wish they had.
It's only fair, Res. 5 didn't come out for Wii, so something should come out for Wii and not PS3 or XBox.

it wont be anything like it, the genre is rail shooter, like those arcade games time crisis or house of the dead, but it will still be awesome regardless. NOW if they will just make anniversary editions of RE 2 RE nemesis and CVX with updated gfx id be happy lol
