  • he spit in the c-c-c-coola. nice stutter

  • thats not how to throw it

  • The easiest pitch, I don't know why is it so hard and I'm 14

  • the mound looks like a mushroom

  • @theroker99 or a dick :)

  • i would not recommend this pitch for anyone 14 and under

  • goro shiGENO!!!

  • im 16 and i throw 51

  • @TheJakeryan09 man you should be throwing up in the 70s

  • @TheJakeryan09 51 thats pathetic. i throw 58 and im 12

  • @MrMr13013 I actually throw 85-89. Am 17 years old and a senior at Taylor County High School in Florida. Just Commited to Georgia Tech University last month. Anymore words bitch?

  • basically.

  • but will it blend? thats the question.

  • basically, thats the exact opposite of what a gyroball is...

  • O i love how a 65 yr old man is saying 14 and under shoudlnt pitch cuz we mite hurt our wrist.,,,

  • GOROOOOO SHIGENOOOO

  • i'm sorry expertvillage, but alien robots from a faraway galaxy do NOT know how to throw a gyroball, so don't listen to them.

  • uhmm... thats not how you throw a gyroball. sorry

  • am i the only one who notices that everyone on "expertvillage" is a complete moron?

  • @jaymoore544 u mad bro?

  • @lei090704 YOU FREAKING IDIOT WHAT ARE YOU TALKING BOUT?!?! when you said the gyroball drops faster than the fastball was just idiotic. In case you didn't know the fastball doesn't drop at all so get your facts right before you start criticizing other people. the only type of fastball that drops is a running fastball. AND FASTBALL IF 1 WORD NOT TWO!!

  • @jaymoore544 technically, a fastball DOES drop, although you can't visually see it. As soon as it leaves your hand it loses velocity. You should think about physics before you go around calling people a "freaking idiot" because you're the one who's factually wrong here.

  • pause and push 1 and 2 back nd forth

  • how do you throw the real gyroball?? please??

  • @MRthatguyman01 Think of it like a curveball or a cut fastball/slider that doesn't break.

It spins on a weird axis but flies straight and slow.

  • not a gyro ball......

  • This is basically a cool video

  • As far as I'm concerned, there aren't many pitchers that know how to throw a good gyro ball. That's why most ppl just call it a non-existing pitch. There are alot of people that claim they throw it, but they actually just throw a normal fastball with a slight motion.

  • yeah 56

  • I thought a Gyro was a sandwich

  • @IccyTheOne that is a euro as it is pronounced but your right and thumbs up for that kip proof gyrobowl

  • @canine221 Yup this 13 yr old is gonna own youtube one day

  • Basically

  • This guy basically described how to throw a proper fastball.... this is NOTHING close to how u throw a gyro

  • Look at Cj Wilson's vid in related... Best example

  • FAIL!! This guy is making stuff up!! Definitely NOT how you throw a gyroball...

  • @grono11 it is lol you're dumb

  • @SportsGuy2194 lol then ur a bigger idiot than the guy on this vid...

  • @grono11 lol then you tell me how to throw a gyro ball dumb ass

  • @SportsGuy2194 lol... I forgot more about this game then you'll ever know.. moron

  • @grono11 haha so you are criticizing this video because you think its not how to throw a gyro ball, yet you don't know how to throw a gyro ball...You just made your self look like an idiot.

  • @SportsGuy2194 lol Wtf are you talking about? I'm not quite sure what you're reading here, but in fact, I DO know the mechanics behind throwing a gyro ball and it's not what's in this video (and what you believe to be true). I can teach you the correct way if you'd like. It sounds like your knowledge on this subject, or baseball in general, is insignificant. So, there are only two idiots here, that would be YOU and the guy in this vid.

  • @grono11 Ok, then tell me the correct way to throw a gyro ball.

  • the real question is what happens when u throw a gyro changeup

  • DUde this guy is wrong sorry to say it.

  • a gyroball does not break .. its not a breaking ball. its motion is the same as throwing an american football by making a bullet like spin creating a gyroscopic effect thus called gyroball. its spin lowers the air resistance so for the batter's eye it rises but like most fastballs that drops a gyroball goes straight.

  • Wrong i know how to pitch a gyro ball its like a fast ball no stress to the arm nothing (There are many tiffrent ways to throw this pitch)

  • F5 to kill adds

  • that field looks really nice

  • BASICALLY

  • go giants

  • o dam, sorry dice-k

  • this nigga's a crackhead yo

  • haha he said cock

  • the gyro ball is good pitch if know how to throw it

  • 0:00

  • basically, that basically didnt help. basically

  • this is wron ill show u how to show a gyro ball visit my channel

  • basically?

  • I am sorry expert village dude but thats not how you throw a gyro ball the gyroball is a desighned pitch that doe's not put stress on the arm and does not break like a breaking ball it has a bullet spin on it wich makes it create a illusion so hitters may swing under the ball the gyroball drops faster than a fast ball butt slower then a curve ball.

  • @lei090704 how about you teach how to throw a gyroball then?

  • English please

  • wow they dont even realy show how to throw it!

  • way to go mickey i miss music city baseball

  • hey i dont want to no fact i just want to no how to throw it

  • @starlessons Then is a cutter a fastball with a .5 in break?

  • The question that was asked was how to throw a gyroball not who brought it to America and all it's history about it.

  • One of the most elusive and difficult to master pitches in baseball, with some saying it doesn't exist, can be taught in 87 seconds. That's expert village.

  • guess what ill try it

  • Basically this guy needs speech class

  • tupac wears flip flops

  • he's telling us how to throw it but i'd love to see him try and throw it

  • @tomascruzwey give the old man a break

  • @williet22

nahh. no offense but i wudnt wanna learn a pitch from this guy...it says he played college but how do we know he was even any good. and plus this pitch is just stupid

  • @williet22

ya wtf...try to do that when ur older

  • @kennygmang what ur u talking about

  • Player Number 56 !Goro Shigeno !

  • @superpro100 now if he was the one telling us how and demonstrating then that would be interesting wouldnt it?

  • @superpro100 lol i learnt about the gyroball from goro

  • @superpro100 hahahah best comment for sure hahaha. Love that anime. every time i watch it i just want to go out and pitch lol.

  • @superpro100 i know right, GORO SHIGENO! i was watching the anime with eng subs, and the people who subbed it put a message at the top, saying the gyroball doesnt exist or everybody would be using it, so does it exist or does it not exist?!?!?!?!?

  • dfddfgerttyrrrr

  • @angelpoop11

    it was a jokeee.... :|

  • @anthonysjb my knuckleball was 100 mph when i was 14 lol just kidding. i didn't know how to throw a knuckle ball till i was 16 or so

  • @iGUESSmaybeNOT im 11 and i knew how to throw a knuckle ball since i was 10

  • dude that is not how to throw a gryo im 12 and i throw a gyro (the right way) it is not harmful

  • @furriesbaseball yes it actually is. for americans anyway. we aren't taught to use our bodies in a pitch so in this drastic change you will most likely dislocate your shoulder or pull most of the muscles in your arm and the sides of your body. and i'll tell you right now. i you're 12 you don't throw a gyroball right. you're 5-10 years too early kid. good luck with your shoulder! bye :)

  • @furriesbaseball oh and one more thing furries... that IS the correct way to throw a gyroball or as close as you can get. so like i said earlier. you can't throw it right ^^ you know your ignorance makes me almost as angry as alfredandbogey

  • i'm 14 and my knuckle ball is 84 mph.

  • @anthonysjb hahahahahahaha good one

  • @deathbydick nice when i was that old i can only throw 180!!!

  • lol a gyroball.. thats nothing that great.. i just wanna see a good submarine pitcher throwing insane knuckle balls..

  • old fart from retard village

  • im 2 months old and i throw 1billion mph

  • @jak3117

    ehh. killlled it.

  • why does everybody comment on here saying theyre 10 years old and can throw 90 mph and this pitch and that pitch. no one gives shit, seriously and no believes you mr. anonymous. im 18 and i can throw a baseball..beat that!

  • @olheiser01 thank you!

  • im 15 and throw 82 with a curveball knuckleball and change up

  • im 4 years old and i can throw 113 mph

  • @uberbs im 13 and i can throw your mom across the yard into my bed bitch!

  • I am 10 and could throw 45 to 50 mph

  • @soccerkidrl wanna a medal?

  • im 16 and i throw 94 mph but when i tryed out for my high schools team they said i couldent play so any high schools intrested i wanna play

  • @mj2ky18 nobody cares

  • basically basically basically basically basically basically

  • @southpols if you're gonna lie, do it right.

    e.g. I CAN THROW A CURVEBALL AT 900 MILES AN HOUR!!1!1!!

  • @tomman222 nerd shutup no ones talking to you...

  • jfarris im 12 and i know i play baseball you cannot throw 80 mph

  • coach in ur dreams :D

  • my grandpa is really good at throwing balls how they throw the balls is weird he teaches me a lot of throws (sounds funny but yea its tru)

  • @selgo24

    you sound like a ruh-tard

  • lol i thought his last name was "Hitler"

  • Ok of course your right!

  • yea i am right

  • youre coach is an idiot, i just learned my curve ball and im 13, but i throw other things like a cutting fastball in a way the does not harm youre arm.

  • retard

  • okay the gyro is not a breaking ball, its basicly a fastball that has a bullet spin, and it wont rise or drop as much as a 4seam. gyroball do not break, end of sentence.

  • @kinya70335

Well, indeed, it does break... it actually drops down.

You know why a good 4 seams seems to hop? Because of the thrust engendered by the spin, it drops less than it would normally and create the illusion of hopping. In fact, it does keep the ball in the air longer.

You know why a 2 seams drops? Because it only has only half the vertical thrust of a 4 seams and drops signficantly more.

A knuckleball also drops a lot because there is about zero vertical thrust unless it kicks up.

  • @kinya70335

A gyroball is special because it rotates just as a bullet out of a gun barrel. What this spin has to be so special?

Because it rotates in a circle on a plane which is perpendicular to the flying path. But not any p. plane, the one in front of the ball.

The rotation does not cause any side movement, nor diagonal one, but look what this spin does: it drags the air behind in the most efficient way possible.

Your pitch slows lesser and drop due to a lack of vertical thrust.

  • @kinya70335

a 4 seams is the pitch which drop the less

a 2 seams is the most dropping fastball

a gyroball is a fastball with bullet spin and it is the fast pitch which drops the most

Clear now? Scientific data; no opinions - only logical conclusions.

  • @kinya70335 Erm, not quite. A Gyroball is actually supposed to sink really fast when arriving to the plate. Maybe you should do a little more research before you post your comments. It does in fact drop, end of sentence.

  • @kinya70335 Actually, I was watching an interview with the people who created the gyroball, and they stated that "A good gyro should rise 10-15 inches" It doesn't just go straight. The video is somewhere on youtube

  • @hcvideoproductions it can rise are drop

  • @lei090704 That is what I thought, because there is a video where it says daisuke Matsuzaka throwing it, and it drops like crazy. But than the creators say it should rise. But you can see the bullet spin on the ball, so IDK. It is a mystery. And Expert Village sucks dick

  • another retard

  • you probably didnt even throw it correctly

  • yes i did... i only did it 5 times because im not an idiot that throws it all the time. Plus i can throw faster then you

  • @southpols bull i can throw 73mph

  • and im 13

  • @soccerboy0396

    bullshit, ill give you 63

  • I used to pitch in little league when i was like 10 to like 16.. I used lots of effect ball and my arm is pretty much dead now and im only 19.

I gotta say my techniques weren't the best and it might be the reason why my arm hurt every time i pitch now... but be careful when pitching effect ball.. try to use lots of fast ball and use the effect ball to get the strikeout

  • ok what a Gyroball is supposed to do is Technically look like a slider but does not break causing the batter to either hit a weak grounder or to swing over the ball completely. sometimes it does break due to the odd rotation but. its never alot of break. but its mostly ment to be hit for grounders.

  • v=CKBYJoaJ0OU

This video really show how gyroball works.

  • expert village sucks

  • @feder04 why?

  • i dont play baseball but now i am ready to use a gyroball at social events

  • Thanks now i Can Thorw a Gyroball

  • guys....they r here for helping ppl who get interest on baseball, not making trouble. if u guys dont think this can help u, u can just skip and go find something helpful, no need to show these dirty words here, no wonder ppl no more making films, they dont get their RESPECT!!!

  • If you're thirteen and relief pitching honestly throwing a gyro is stupid. I close for my jv team and i throw cut fastballs and 12-6 curves.

  • WHO CARES UR A GAY PORCH MONKEY

  • you throw 12-2 curves

  • he's not helping

  • umm... slider???

  • i wish i can pitch a gyro ball too

  • is he explaining how to throw a gyroball or how he break dances

  • the gyroball isnt some huge curving 90 mph pitch its a "fake" slider that involves you throwing the ball of the side of your hand and turning your hand outwards like a screw ball. like jeeperzj said it isnt suppose to move. it screws up your arm so if you dont throw it right or are young dont try it, also do research on how to throw it dont just say that looks cool and try it unless you want to have shoulder and elbow problems.

  • jkjk bout everything except that is not good for ur arm though seriously lol

  • helpful

  • u r not smart i m in the triple aaa for the atros i didnt start throwin that until i was 15 n im throw alot of good pitches i throw alot of k"s

  • U do not throw for OSU you liar. And the only person to throw mid 90s on OSU or even in the whole Big 10 conference is Justin Hail and he just graduated....mid 90's pitchers are in the MLB--quit lying

  • Im 16 and i've faces a bunch of 90+ pitchers but then again im in Canada

  • no bro i throw a gyroball he is half correct cause you do use your hips at the same time but you throw it differently

  • There is no such thing as a gyroball. It's a shitty slider.

  • it's actually a pitch made up by scientists in japan, very few people have ever been able to throw it correctly, and those who don't end up throwing a shitty slider.....gyroballs are not supposed to break at all

  • what the fuck is a 12-6 curve?

  • curveball that breaks straight down like 12 to 6 on a clock grip like a curveball and release out in front and dont snap your wrist sideways bring it straight down so the ball tumbles almost. like frontspin

  • theres a way to deysroy your elbow > ass hole

  • its not worth some1 12-13 or under to be throwing any breaking pitchest besides a curveball i had a friend all he threw work breaking pitches and he broke his elbow at 12 years old

  • fuck you olb maan
