When I created this song I didn't know the trick of the palm muted notes to simulate the single notes/solos in the rhythm track. Since Dec08, the song was removed by Activision and I can't upload it again with the upgrade. I was very disappointed that I couldn't add the solo and the chords in the same track. The solo is actually in the lead guitar track, not in the keyboard track. Try the drums track, it is quite accurate =) Thanks again!

Sorry, I don't have the hardware to record from the Xbox. I recorded all tracks using Step Record and with the guitar (also the drums track). If you understand a little bit of music, it will make it easier to modify the size of the note (1/8 triplets, 1/4,1/2...) and record faster and precise! Due to the structure of the song, I found better to record in this order: bass, guitar, drums, guitar solo/intro, voice.

Sometimes, I changed the scale to be able to choose the button/color I wanted

You can add vocals by adding a keyboard track. You can then sing or hum along with it. But if you don't like keyboard sounds, you can just reduce the volume of the keyboard to near nothing (you can't mute it completely). You will still be able to play it on vocal but without annoying keyboard sounds.
