That's a newer style 8 hp Briggs horiz. 3/4" output shaft and overhead valves. It has the cylinder that's laid back at about a 45 degree angle. The built in gas tank and the muffler had to be removed to make it fit. The Mini bike is a Manco and already had a gas tank mounted on the upper frame tube, so that was an easy substitution. The engine had the 2in. square bolt pattern required to mount that assymetric Comet "torque-a-verter". All I had to fab was the exhaust, mount plate + footpegs.

hey i am doing the same thing with a 5hp brigs and i need some help on getting the throtle lincage hooked up do you have any advice
