That's not how it's done in New York City, we virtually don't have ramps, but upstate and out in Long Island we do. Merging onto NYC highways require creeping up at a lower speed of about 30 on the ramp, identifying the gap and then flooring it, last time I merged onto a highway out of the city, it felt great just to speed up on the ramp, and not worry about the gap.

What all mods on your truck?.Ive been checking into the Edge J/A and have just heard some issues with high EGT's and such have you had any problems with temp? And also any tranny slippage or damage?

in the video it just has the edge, but now it has a 4" downpipe back exhaust. EGT wise when the truck is empty you need to try and get over 1350 and when your towing if you stay on levels 1 or 2 and sometimes 3 it doesnt get above 1350. you can see in the video where the smoke cuts out that it is defueling the shifts pretty hard. so far it is shifting fine when on level 3 or 4 with defueling turned off. im sure it will get worn out faster than a stock truck, but so far so good.

thanks, defueling is something you can set the edge to do so it defuels--or IOW cuts back the power during shifts so it will help save the transmission.
