Himesh's voice is a joke in comparison with Kishore. He is a decent amateur sing, but that is all. He should certainly not be doing covers of Kishore thats for sure. But I thought the live performances of this song by Harshit Saxena on Star and Soumen Nandi on Saregamapa were both very good, but I found the latter exceptionally good.

It cannot be RD Burman. RD's music is very tightly harmonius and depend less on the appeal of large orchestra. Later is the feature of Luximikant Pyarelal. So i think it is LP rather RDB. Moreover, the deliberate abruptness in the tune is also another feature of Luxmikant which is present in this song. Nice song and thanks for sharing. Granduer of Kishore's voice is at its peak.

@debrajdeb I personally agree completely with you- karz was my favourite film since I was a child. I havent seen the remake of himesh but I have the main parts of it- and yes there is no comparison to the acting- the feel- or even the charamatic personality of the character played by rishi, and the whole crew. I think himesh should stick to music career, and not ever try to pursue acting, Like myself, many individuals have grown to dislike himesh for his arrogance and attitude.problem.

@nobidaniel the only reason i agree with your comment is because of his personal behavior towards everyone and the whole fiasco in general that he did repeatedly on the music show- "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" of zee tv. i am guessing he really does need to apologise to many, but that never will do, if he had been decent- maybe many people who now dislike him wouldnt do so, as they liked himesh at one point. and many disliked him from beginning..
