what are the recording levels for on the h2. and when u use it as a usb mic do u have to put it in a specific setting first

The levels are so you can set an appropriate recording level. You want to set the levels as high as possible for a given range of volume without overloading the unit and causing distortion.

If the levels are too low, you have to turn up the volume during playback, raising the "noise" that you'll hear. If the levels are too high, the sound will distort during the louder parts of the recording.

Nice job Father. The mics are outstanding and in front/rear mode produce two files that look identical on computers, but one file is

the front mics and the other the back mics.

is the file system is FAT32, doesn't that make the file size limit 4GB? you said it was 2GB. i could be wrong, just wondering.
