Oh and let me rephrase my 2nd to last comment, theyre running 14-17 psi of boost with forged internals. one has upgraded his block to a 32v DOHC mach 1 engine running that the other is a stock 2v SOHC and he has forged internals. the 32v is making close to 850 hp at 5670 rpms and the other is making 578hp at 5576 rpms. Just asked them lol. You can see the difference between a 2v v8 and a 4v v8, haha

@ztwan19 if you check my channel I just got all this work done to mine. Check out 2001 mustang full slp exhaust on my channel. That's after I dynoed it at turbokinetics. It came out around 302hp at the wheels at 5150 rpms. Just look at the info on that video. that will tell u all that I have done to it. I also have another video thats older and that has some also that I didn't include in that info on that video.

@ztwan19 I have a 2001 gt convertible too and I have friends that carry more than double that psi getting up around 700-1000 hp and they're frames are fine. All you would have to do is upgrade the suspension and the top. I would recommend going to an aftermarket top so you don't get too much drag. It can be done though. I don't have mine upgraded but I have 2 friends all with 99-04 gt convertibles and both of them are running 14-15 psi of boost with forged internals.

i have an 01 gt convertible and i want to kenne belle mine at 6 or 7 psi for 400 hp. do you have any idea if the convertible frame can handle that much torque and i do have sub frame connectors? i have looked everywhere tried contacting peopel and i cant get an answere please let me know thank you!

Who did the port work on your PI heads, and how much did it run you if you don't mind. I just put a new motor with forged internals in my procharged 01 and made the mistake of not getting a more aggressive cam and ported head. I want to port the heads of my old motor now and install some comp 270's
