@anderzom I HIT THIS SPOT UP 2 WEEKS AGO,EVERYTHING IS FOR SALE BUT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO GO THRU ALL THE CRATES BECAUSE HOW THE ARE STACKED.IF YOU MOVE THEM YOU WILL BLOCK YOUR WALKWAY AND BOX YOURSELF IN. OVERALL IT'S A DIGGER'S HEAVEN AND I CAME OFF THEY HAD 5 ACCESSIBLE CRATES OF 45'S THAT HAD MAD DRUM BREAKS AND RARITIES.

what do the prices usually run for? give me a heads up...I'm leaving to N.Y. in January....If I lived in N.Y. I think I'd be spending most of time and money on this place. .. this is place is dangerous (on pocket).

The prices are amazing go around 2 dollars per vinyl if u buy about 100 vinyls, it can even go down to 1,50 a piece,

I went yesterday, and back when we first discovered this spot in 2001, I spent about 20 hours a week there for a couple of years. Figure about four or five crates a week. I figure I pulled 10,000 records out of there in a three year period.

Here is the thing about "The Thing", records are being brought in and others thrown away all the time. There are records of value in there but you could spend days locating them.

You got to know your sh*t or else it becomes overwhelming.

I own close to 50,000 12" single i thought i had alot damn is that the basement of vinalmania rcrds that just closed. i use to hit shops in the nyc village back in the 80's found sick rare pieces but looking at this collection i'm sure theres alot of dust but rare killer 12" singles as well. very impressive

You asked a good question: the price. Well, get this: Every record is only $2 !!!! Amazing, right? Of course there's TONS and TONS of junk and terrible music down there. In fact. I've never listened to so much bad music under one roof!!! BUT...I've found some True Gems down there that made it all worth it!
