You can sell your 24", I don't know why you'd want to, bigger screen, 16:10, not 16:9, which makes every day tasks easier. Widescreens only good for movies.

A 16:10 24" screen is not bigger than a 16:9 27" screen. Basically the 27" 16:9 has the same height as the 24" 16:10, but has an additional inch or so on either side.

I never said the 24" was bigger, even thought it is slightly taller.

I just said there's no point in wanting a 27" since the 24" is about the same size.

Fair enough, also don't forget that the 27" has a higher pixel density (2560 x 1440 vs 1920 x 1200 on the 24"). No matter what way you look at it, the 27" is bigger and has more pixels and better colour accuracy. There's nothing wrong with the 24", but arguing its superior is silly.

I said for the money that you would probably have to shell out, it isn't really worth it.

I know the 27" (and the 21") have WAY better colors than the previous models.

I'd keep the 24" though, unless you are in it for serious graphic work or something, the 24" will do just fine.
