  • When I listen to this song, the world stops. I've yet to listen to it without crying, and I'm fairly certain 30,000 of those 81,000 views are from me =)

  • Brilliant! How could it be anything less? - A Cohen song performed by a member of the Thompson "dynasty".

  • This is how the song should be sung! No offence Leonard but your version is too fast

  • just gorgeous

  • A brilliant Cohen cover no doubt, but Roberta Flacks "Suzanne" and the whole "famous blue raincoat" album by Jennifer Warnes are just as good..brilliant!!

  • This song plays my emotions like teddy plays the guitar. A great song by a great singer. Thank for the up-load.

  • Speechless everytime i hear it!

  • Es una versión que hace justicia a la original :__)

  • She's moving her body so brave and so free. If I've got to remember that's a fine memory.

  • I love this song.. It's so moving... I too prefer this version to the stage performance one.. It reminds me of the last night with my now ex.. :(

  • That back-up singer moved to tears is his Mother. Proud Mama!

  • No. She's Julie Christensen. Teddy's mom, Linda Thompson, did sing in the concert tho'. His dad, Richard Thompson, is one of the great singer-songwriters and a fabulous guitarist.

  • this quality can only be called communion with the greater being.apparently cohen said that it was THE best version he had heard--and he,s not wrong.not he nor me. superbe!

  • Gorgeous - I really like it when good singers re-interpret Cohen songs...I love LC's originals, but they aren't sacred and some of the covers are brilliant. Goosebump stuff...

  • What an amazing voice --- I love Teddy!!!

  • This back stage performance is more emotional than the live performance. It verbalizes the valley in a relationship but offers hope for a better time to come.

  • I prefer this rehearsal version compared to the show version although both are GREAT, however the hug given to Teddy by the moved-to-tears back-up singer is just so moving.

  • Whew! Very nice.

  • The best Cohen cover I've ever heard...bar none.

  • Totally. It's amazing. All the covers in the movie it's from are superb with the exception of the Handsome Family

  • Movie?! What movie is this from?

  • I'm Your Man 2005, Tribute DVD, this rendition is in the extra stuff.

  • 'I'm your man'...a documentary about Leonard Cohen

  • teddy sings leonard as well as anyone, he and jeff buckley

well done teddy wishing you the best

  • Any Cohen song is beyond golden.

    This version is beyond measure.

    Beauty.

  • :D fantastico!

  • why hasn't anybody commented on this yet? great as always, one of the saddest songs from cohen.
