It was in Maracana Stadium, around 90,000 people... and for me, it was one of the most magical concerts I ever seen, even after all those years! Her beauty, class and the wonderful voice is unique!!! I have ALWAYS loved this woman's music. She is in a class of her own.

Its a shame though that it seems smoking has really affected her voice.

Its husky quality used to be just one colour of her performance... but now theres been a shift away from the clear higher colours near the top of her vocal range... to a predominantly darker huskier and lower range. Its probably going to incite negative comments, but she reminds me of Billie Holiday (towards the end of Billie's life). How sad...
