The League's three actor/writers were, in my opinion, the most inspired men in Britain for awhile....the only one who compares was Paul Whitehouse and crew. This American housewife can't live without her British comedy. I must have my fix!!!

series 1 and 2 are genius but series 3, is awful they ran out of ideas and killed off all the characters.

I'm afraid this story is a hoax. Papa Lazarou is based on Captain Howdy from The Exorcist. The manky teeth, the highlighted eyes. They even have an orange bird hanging from the big top that is has no bearing on the story (Regan MacNeil showed her mum an orange bird in the film). In one scene in the final series Papa Lazarou was even tied to a bed renacting Regan's possession! Papa is still one of the greatest characters of all time... ; )
