i like how chevy and ford guys are teaming up on the supra, supras are something else after they're tuned... but turbo or supercharge a LS1(like me) or even a LT1 and they'll give any stock american car a run for its money...maybe not a saleen s7 or a ford gt but screw those cars :p

The LS Series are the echelon of pushrod small block v8s... and why does everyone make excuses for the supra? a stock ls1 camaroa is faster than a stock supra. both have ridiculous potential for modding this ss just happens to be faster. get over it supra fans.

a stock ls1 maro is faster than a supra? do you even know what youre talking about. stock supra has 320hp. stock 01 ss has 325hp. both run 1/4mile in about 13.6 depending on driver. supra does .98g on skidpad... camaro...well..lets not even try cornering with the maro

there have been some stock LS1s that run a high 12 (depending on the driver) dont even talk about cornering because supras cant handle their way out of a paper bag lol...my friends stock bmw 330 out handled a supra lol

haha a ls1 in a vette is really no different than an ls1 in a f-body.. there under rated for insurnace purposes and well think about it... why would on paper they want a trans am or camaro to have just as much horsepower as a corvette? lol they didnt even though they really do.. some ls1 f-bodys have seen 320rwh bone stock! but most iv seen are around 300rwh..

Oh yea. I don't have a real extensive knowledge of Japanese motors, but I do know that the 2JZ engines are very impressive engines. I always see magazines with 1000+ HP Supras, so they must have some potential. I have a 2004 and a 2006 GTO, and pretty much all I know is GM small blocks. Haha. But I love just about anything with 4 wheels. I'm a car nut!

ahh do u no much bout the old skool gm small blocks? cuz once im done building my 240sx im gonna restore/build me a camaro. is a 350 a good motor for 500horses? everyone i asked said a t4 tremecs up to the job of 500hp. an i got a 12 lug back end recommended. anything i can narrow it down to? an thanks for not hatin on imports even if u luv domestics. im kinda the other way round. but i got respect for a good car.
