I really hated Kris dying so quickly.Also,I hated when they cut some of the scenes,they didn't put them in the special features,like the pool party scene and the church scene.(Black X-mas also)These scenes make me always looking forward to seeing.

What was she screaming at that she saw, i can't make it out. The movie was pretty terrible, though not as terrible as the horrific Friday remake. Spoiled the twist for all the newcomers just so you could skit to part 3. Assholes!

@DiGGy539 I think the room with the candles is Freddy's cave in the preschool. She'd probably wake up soon after that since he killed that guy on the blog (Marcus i think?) soon after he got close to it. I want to see them too hopefully they eventually release the scenes!

Well the glove making scene obviously was made for the trailer only, none of the cuts bothers me at all, personally I'm glad they cut the pool party scene, that would have been a terrible way to open the movie.

Wow. A lot of these scenes look great. Some of them, especially the one with Kris(?) wearing Freddy's claw covered in blood looking creepy as hell.

I think that was a great shot of her and they should've used that in the remake. I bet it would creeped some people out. ;)

i would love to see the scene where freddy is wearing the brown robe...what was that all about. i've never been able to get any answers about it. it makes no sense....for the price of the dvd blu ray combo pack they could have put all t hat unused stuff on it. they know horror fans love deleted stuff. so why not give the fans what they want.

@itchysun Yeah I know. I think it links to the church ending and Freddy's claw poking Quentin on the back because of the background and the atmosphere. They should've released all these scenes though =/ I hope they do eventually

@itchysun i agree! i wanted to see those scenes so bad! the robe part was suppose to happen when quintin was looking around the pre school after nancy was falling asleep and he was suppose to fall asleep and the walls around him were suppose to collapse and he would end up at the church and then freddy was suppose to come after him in the robe and then nancy was suppose to wake him up but then quintin like unzips his head to reveal freddie

@itchysun Freddy's wearing the hooded robe as part of Quentin's dream sequence. He's in an abandoned church. It's a deleted scene that is made in reference to his faith. They should have used it.

They might have left some stuff out, but the film was awesome! And Jackie REALLY made Freddy. Although NO ONE can replace Robert Englund's finesse of Freddy Krueger. Two thumbs WAY WAY up to both of them.

Whoever edited this film needs to go back to film school. There were so many scenes that should have been used and were cut out. Sadly, these scenes would have given the film it's own feel. You can't top or better the original film, so why not try to do something new with the concept. The only times this film really worked was when it wasn't copying the original. Jackie Earle Haley was no Robert Englund, but he did a good job at making Freddy different. His lead should have been followed.

@JennifersBodyH2 i agree not ,only do theese scenes not appear in the movie but have you or anyone remembered a pool party in this film??? I dont. That leaves me to insinuate that large plot points have been taken out ,and according to imdb and the back of my dvd case the movie is only 95 min

sure horror movies usually run that long and the original was 90 min but if they(the editors) pushed to 2 hrs they could have kept all that in and possibly made the film better....not likely

@TheScamp44 Yeah. I think Freddy just had that outfit on for the moment and not the entire scene but idk for sure. I think Nancy got out of that pool of blood in her hallway and then saw the bloody kris with the glove that's where that Nancy scene would probably be at. That Kris scene is definitely in Nancy's house though because Freddy was standing in that spot when Nancy was in the bloody pool in the hallway.

@SaraBelle11 oh no i found them on the internet, only 3 of the scenes were released on blu ray which were the hospital opening, nightmare street, and the alt. ending with unburned freddy. I think we all got ripped off on that one I would've liked to see all of these deleted scenes.
