Was very nice to see all of this again, without the stress of playing, haha.
Watched all 7 parts, and damn.. it really shows it's been at least 18years ago last time I played it! I didn't even remember the "crab boss" along the way for example. Or the eagle-entrance attacking you. I also beat the game back then, but only thanks to the ridiculously high amount of extra lives from the jackpot, haha.. :p
As far as Mario 2/ Doki Doki Panic vs Mario 2/ The Lost Levels goes, I'm actually glad that Nintendo decided what they did. When TLL was released in Japan it had a bad reception there, and I'm willing to bet it would have had elsewhere because, purism aside, TLL really is just a reworked Mario 1, so it's more like Mario 1.5. Calling it The Lost Levels allows those that want it to to play it, while allowing the Mario franchise to stretch its legs rather than get stuck in one style.
Yup,that's what it's all about, getting to know the patterns, but gosh,Legacy Of The Wizard,I needed some guidance from somebody back in the day.I mean I got a few tips here in there, but I still needed guidance,as confusing as Legacy Of The Wizard is. :)
Well, once you know the patterns of those games, Legacy of the Wizard becomes very easy, but Battletoads remains a very tough one. I completed Battletoads, but just once. All i wanted was to prove to myself I could do it. I did, and then, never played it again. Ha! Ha! I still play Legacy of the Wizard, since it's the kind of game we like to play again. :)
I remember the first time I watched Legacy Of The Wizard of your NES HalDanGhor, very impressive playing. I never understood that game. Also love your super mario 3 NES,I watched all 26 videos :)
That's kind of scary. Out of the attic? Don't attics get kind of hot? That isn't the best place to store electronics?
My Dad kept extra toilet paper up in the attic. Big mistake. It disintegrated too easily, and he had to throw it all away.
What is safe to store in the attic? Extra old metal trash cans, as heat doesn't even bother metal, and probably those big plastic totes packed with clothes. Clothes take the heat of the dryer, so clothes take temperature extremes.
Well I am glad her NES worked. I do hope mine still works? I haven't played mine for years, never hooked it up to my newer digital reception TV that I bought to replace the old one that quit working. I recently looked through my NES games, all of which I bought cheap used, and I saw several I haven't played. I bought them for around $3 each. I was glad to find all the cool titles I remember, from my half-brother and half-sister playing them. Do the few game saves last?
i love how everyone says makes me want to break out my old nintendo and jam or what not. (meaing im going to download this game and play it on an emulator now)
Yeah, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES for short, was about the first video game console, in my opinion, that started having really cool video games. The games available before that, really didn't do much. Back in the days when computers barely had enough memory to even function as cheap toys.
My half-brother and half-sister got a NES for Christmas, and they played it ALL DAY LONG. I recall I had to wait until they went to bed, and then I played it for hours more.
They all have special abilitys. Toad maybe the fastest. Luigi has the high jump, Peach has her flying ability and Mario WELL is just well rounded (lol)
Hmmm...I am not a specialist or a lover of speed runs. Sure, I work fast, but I don't seek perfection. I just try to be efficient! Getting coins to try to get lives would have been useless and boring for viewers according to me... ;)
Oh man, the memories! Thanks for the upload! :)

Yo también terminé el juego, pero eres más bueno que yo.
Pero hablando de eso, ¿Emulado o en Consola?
I also finished the game, and you're as good as me.
But speaking of that, is emulated or console?
