  • he is a beauty

  • @kk4u7777 Hi. Thank you for your lovely comment. He has been our once in a lifetime horse. His son is just like him so luckily for us he will walk in his daddys footsteps.

  • dang! that is one gorgeous horse all around!!

  • ...how often do you ever see them crop out

I do not know what you mean by crop out. Are you saying culling?

We are a small breeding farm.

  • Thank you. We have saddleseat Morgans. If you are talking about singlefooted, it would be difficult for them to do that dicipline but it would be difficult for Storm to singlefoot. A good Morgan is a good morgan. Love them all.

  • He is beautiful...I admire them all. We are raising only gaited Morgans though...how often do you ever see them crop out....there is a very good market for them.

  • Setting up any performance horse with shoes is much like setting up the suspension of a race care. The goal is getting the best performance without stressing horse or race driver.

  • Every horse is different according to how they move and their conformation. The higher heel gives the horse more up motion where as in a hunt seat horse more toe will give more extension. This horse goes well with a three degree wedge, a leather pad and a light shoe that is wide and set so that it extends slightly from the edges of the hoof in order to provide a broad platform.

  • Many people who do not show don't understand about shoeing. A horse is shod differently according to it's discipline. In saddle seat or for a Morgan In Hand horse you want the high stepping rolling type of trot. The horse must have the ability to do it and shoes will not make him do it but only enhance what he has.

  • Tell me about those frontleg-shoes :o how often do you use them and why? Do they cause anytype of harm to his legs?

  • @hannahappiest That is a good question. I would never do anything to harm our horse. 4 months out of the year Storm is barefoot. He has an light weight arab shoe and moves nicely naturally. Storm always comes first, showing is second. He is 20 years old so I think you can see he is AOK.

  • Gorgeous horse, but people are weird... who cares what a horse looks like, or if it's a thoroughbred? Seriously, it's pointless.

  • Stunning boy! I'm a fan of ALL Morgans, "new" stykle, "old" style, bay, brown, cremello, overo - you name it. The inside is the same. That being said, this guy is so great, he is a standout even with the plain wrapper. HE oozez type and charisma and doesn't NEED any icing! BEAUTIFUL boy! And SUCH great movement! True Morgan type.

  • Storm is loved, NOT beaten. At home he's quiet, plays w/ grandkids, a kind stallion, a blast to be around. Undefeated Justin Morgan Standard (over 30 times) No whip is to be carried in that class.

VT State chapm against all breds.

There were thousands of people in the collisium and he was very excited.

Please visit us & Denlore's Desert Storm at Equine Affaire in West Springfield MA 2009. I believe you will find he is a happy and very loved horse.

    He is our best friend.

  • @denlore1 god bless u he is very beautiful and its so wonderful to hear he has a great home=) we own a morgan mare we rescued from the meat truck yrs ago..she is the greatest horse ever...i love the morgan breed=)

  • Now this is a Morgan! He's not white or palomino, he's not gaited or a sports horse although there's nothing wrong with being a sports horse it's just they shouldn't be breed. Only the best of the best Morgans should be breed like this stallion, "Demlores Desert Storm". This is my opinion and I am not affiliated with Denlores (but I bet I speak for a good many Morgan Horse people, lol)

  • where is he located?

  • This horse exemplifies the perfect Morgan confirmation. When producing any new morgan foal this is what we should try to achieve.

    Absolutley stunning :)

  • WOW! my friends helped groom him at equine affaire last year.

  • WOW, nice horse. He has a nice clean throatlatch. Very typey.{sorry if I did not spell that right!!} He has nice body comformation!

  • Thank you.

We are so blessed to have him. At home I ride him in the ring. I am old and do not ride well and he is so patient with me. He shocks me still when I see him show.

  • He has such a sleek coat and a gorgues head with a lovely mane and tail

  • That tail now runs almost all the way around his body.

It takes two people to groom it.

It may be time to cut it.......We will see.

  • I've never seen a horse with a tail that long!

  • My GOD what a beautiful horse!!!! I loved his tail! And his movement! GORGEOUS!

  • Proud MOM I am. I go in the barn each day with his carrots and think the same thing. I am blessed......

    Laura

  • Lovely!
