  • I like both versions for totally different reasons

  • Like most songs, you tend to like the vesrsion you heard first. I heard this one first so prefer this but hey, it's a great song whatever!

  • I like Bad Religion's version and Groove Coverage's version equally.

  • Bad Religion is much better...

  • @aZurEaL23 ...okay

  • Blasphemy! This can't be called a cover.

  • Man, I really wish they wouldn't have blurred the people in this video, but I get it. Dude seems blurred out, too. Is he also a 21st century digital girl?

  • @spazzman90 lol. Nao I get it. thx. Was about to search for uncensored. xD - OMG, this effect sucks... it just looks wrong... not even 'interesting'.

  • If this is 21st century digital girl, what is this then? A remix? youtube.com/watch?v=WoyDCEbQP4Y&feature=related (I should be allowed to link, since its the same band singing it, correct?)

  • wtf is with the blurring?

  • @LegateTeran she's digital get it

  • @LegateTeran That's what I'm trynna' figure out.xDD

  • o_O Wow a lot of flaming on this vid. JUST LISTEN TO TEH EPIC SONG HO'S. xD

  • Acabaram com a música do Bad Religion

  • man, this sucks. sorry but it does

  • *Jabbs fist in the air chanting with the crowd* Cause' I'ma 21st century digital Girl~~

Fuck any haters, I'm lovin' this.xD

  • The fact it's so easy to separate comments from those who got to this video from Bad Religion to those who heard of BR from this video is pretty sad, stop saying "wot", it makes you look like an idiot. -- Anyway, I don't mind them covering, it's actually pretty cool to see BR songs in different genres, but I can't say I'm too keen on this one, mainly the change in lyrics puts me off.

  • V guitar for chording! Makes me cry XD

  • @thestaub i no wot ur saying, its an acceptable cover. just to remind eveyone of how girls aloud destroyed a run dmc / aerosmith classic. i just dont get y the singers been blurred, she must be fuck ugly

  • I can't really agree with most of you. Being said that I love not only Bad Religion but rather prefer Bad Religion at any time, tGroove Coverage did a decent job COVERING it as Groove COVERage is a coverband. And looking at todays youth (and being grown up with Bad Religion myself) i'd even say this version appeals more than ever.

In fear of being flamed and hated, let me remind you that I do like Bad Religion more and prefer theirs, I'm just saying Groove Coverage did a good job on this one.

  • What? How dare you be so reasonable in the comments page? What is the world coming to? :-)

  • @thestaub i agree with you. Bad religion did a great song with a very important message, so did groove coverage. Both versions have an important meaning. And i think groove coverage did a nice job, without doing a 100 % copy of the original but also transporting so much to the listeners. And without any doubt , Mell has a really nice voice. Not only for dance or popmusic. She can do classic and rock too:-)

  • @thestaub It does, it does. I agree with you 120%, dude. ROCK IT OUT, BAD RELIGION!XD

  • @thestaub But kids these days are stupid.

  • @thestaub you know, i was all set to argue with you, just because it starts off terrible, like fingernails on chalkboard because of this chick's voice but they get better. and yea will probably appeal to today's generation more. actually, i really REALLY would like to think our youth today would prefer the original. but i mean, the second half of this video rocks. ugh. i hate to say it but you make too many good points for me to argue with.

  • @deadperro Ooooh, cry me a river, enjoy it or shut up.

  • Actually, 1990.

  • this is fucking awful. any bad religion fan would cry. i hope they're making a ton of cash from this shit

  • Here is a Bad Religion fan... T___T

  • @forkkkboy Yeah, this definitely insults me to be a Bad Religion fan. After seeing what Epitaph has become over this past decade, I bet Mr. Brett gave them the "ok" to do this.

  • it's not bad , but also not great ....

  • yeah really great song, where to download it? on itunes i only can find the techno version?!?!

  • . get "youtube converter" .. just google; youtube converter free download (':

  • download aTube catcher ;) it´s freeware

  • If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. :<

  • no no they are not very big :D and normaly they made techno music ^^

  • lukapolean... c'mon kid, i still have some prozac in basement... youre IN NEED INDEED... And if i won't stop "flaming" this thing you do what?? start crying or bust some furniture?

You know kiddo. I'm not in any music, cause i'm tollerant. But if im listening to Thing where's one guitar solo looped, and so other instruments, then it's really hurting maybe not ears but taste. (sorry for my english).

  • not their best song, but still a good one. And all the bad religion fans should relax a bit. They covered it also! :)

  • No they didn't. Bretty Gurewitz from Bad Religion wrote it in 1994.

  • @Yesterdayss maybe he wrote it, groove coverage wrote their lyrics too( because the lyrics are new) but i heard that bad religion were inspired by another song. Maybe i am wrong. But that is what i read many many times. And in my opinion it is not a sin to refresh some good all songs.

  • Whoever took part in making this deserves to suffer a horrible, painful death.

  • Correction- Hot whores.

  • On the bright side, there's hot women dancing

  • It's quite funny to her this version when you're used to hear the techno version :D

  • ah fuk...reply doesnt work - - sry for quad post, rofl, btw line below was @ hal9000pl

  • What the f...... is that? When GC started it was something original, now it's something good-seeling. It's not even real rock but something look-a-like.

If you kids want listen to real rock, type "queen" in YT for example

  • ok, for all those flamers, if you dont like rock, just fuk off plox, dont listen if u cant stand it...then u start complaining about ur ears?...wtf? why even SEARCH for rock if u dont like it...damn....seriously dont understand u bishes..

  • Flamers? Have you heard any of Groove Coverage's *other* songs? It's techno on poppers. The guitarist is hot though...whoever he may be. I hate to burst your floral-scented bubble, but GC is no ones idea of rock.

  • um, i'm not talking 2 u..and i never said this is rock, all i said was if u dont like rock, fuk off...obviously them bishes think its rock.. - - and btw, i'm not into GC, i'm just fuked up about them fukin flamers flaming about some shit: "oh my fukin ears are bursting :O" i find it on 9/10 of all the songs i like/see on YT - - starts to piss me off

  • Wouldn't have noticed by the lil content-reply box. Oh well, bandwagons are fun. Though I still disagree with your stance on flamers. Us fags have done alot for rock as a genre and music in general. Many people still consider Queen a "rock legend" and Freddy Mercury took more dick than any living Hilton female.

  • Not quite the searing indictment of middle-class attitudes the original was. Awful stuff.

  • how realistic lyrics!!!

  • Best song ever from GC! I love rock and trance also and their songs mingled with this rock sound makes a fantastic album!

  • What the heck! This is not how groove coverage sounds like!!!!

  • can anyone spot greg hetson in the video lol

  • I love this song and I really like the band Bad Religion. I think the Groove Coverage version is better.

  • I like the style, not the lyrics though tbh.

  • I like Groove Coverage, but I must agree that this song disappointed me. The Bad Religion version is great.

  • this is raping bad religion. awful...

  • digital boy

  • I liked Poison, but this is just...no. It could've been done so much better.

Props for giving Bad Religion some attention though.

  • warum sind die eig ehm so gmacht das ma se net erkennt wenns a musicvid is?

  • oh i love that song

  • The musicians in these kind of vids always look like they're trying to hard. Check out some Kelly Clarkson and Pink vids too... you'll see whatIm on about.

  • .. I Like The More Dance verson .. gd tune o

  • Gr8 Dude ! I love this Sung

  • I Love The Song! The Music Video Is A Little Scary... But, I Guess Is Matches With The Song.

  • boah ich war da das ging garnicht wie geil das war....fast so krass wie in LA bei timbaland da kommt bisher echt nichts dran!

  • in nearly every GC song comments here on youtube people are complaining about the song is covored but hey look at their band name they call emself Groove COVERage

they are/were a coverband who remixed / changed songs they liked and thats not forbidden

  • suxxxxxxxx!woww that was really bad!

  • y are they covered?

  • I love this song! :D

  • i mean the video sucks

  • is this the real song??? it sucks

  • no it is 21st century digital boy

  • Cheap cover of a good song.

All they did was add the sex factor and take away the meaning of the real song.

    Crappy.

  • yea Bad Religion baby!!! And ur right

  • Wow... that was truly truly awful! A great song was very cheaply modulated.... bad job

  • Bad Religion version is WAY better, although, this is kinda' enjoyable.

  • Someone have tabs??:D

  • this fuckin shit is crap.. why? its not even a cover, its got Nothing!

  • not being a cover is kinda a good thing

  • no.. its so bad you cant even hear its a cover of that other song unless you recognized the name

  • never heard the orginal but this version is kinda catchy~

not my style. is the first one a rock song?~insane

  • not even a cover?

dude go look for 21st century digital boy by bad religion..

Hell yeah it is a cover. and maybe it is not your style but it is a good song. (some people like rock and electronic music)

  • ok listen... i fuckin Know they wrote the song! or else i wouldn't say what i just said.

  • no they didn't it was written back in the day by one of the greatest punk bands ever Bad Religion...these guys just changed some lyrics.

  • the POINT is, that this sorry excuse for a song sucks.

  • It's not the same song.

  • Love this song!!

  • das passt gar nich zu groove coverage, ist aber nicht schlecht. hab ihre stimme erst im refrai so richtig erkannt^^

  • da hast recht erkennt man erst im refrain

    ich finds aber trotzdem geil^^

  • Uh 21st century(digital Boy) isn't a parody or a cover idiots...its more of an homage. And this song is complete shit... no real lyrics to speak off, no originality and this chick doesn't hold a candle to Greg Graffin.

  • damn straight

  • Thank god not everyone posting here sucks.

  • this is a funny parody of a parody...21st Century (Digital Boy) itself is a parody. the original song is King Crimson's "21 Century Schizoid Man"...there are some allusions at the end of the Bad Religion-song, listen carefully!

  • there aren't "some allusions at the end of the Bad Religion" song - they quote it word for word

  • not everything; in the 1994-version:

the lines "everything I want I really need" and "21st century schizoid boy" aren't quoted, they are converted!

  • *i dont know how to love

  • ... but I live in this world.

  • So it's fun, I get that...but the lyrics are so watered down it's hard to see it as anything but a poor cover. "My mommy's on valium so ineffectual" changed to something like "my mommy's on drugs but I don't really care?"

and i know they had to rhyme with "Girl" instead of "boy," but "I don't know how to live but I live in this world?"

    Come on Groove Coverage.

    Come on

  • it's "know how to love" not "know how to live". Still not sure exactly what it means, mind.

  • Ok, conceded....

"I don't know how to love but I live in this world" isn't much better.

  • Yes this is by the great and awesome Groove Coverage. And yes they made it as a reply/retort to 21st Century Digital Boy as I believe it's called.

  • this is by groove coverage ??!!??

  • i love it =]

  • Hehe, Bad Religion Rulz, but this one is funny. :-)

  • i think this is not the real version...this one is changed...i have seen the original video! there was nothing pixelized

  • WTF?! They dared to cover this song from Bad Religion... Oh the humanity!

  • What if I wanna hide that pussycat somewhere else o.o

  • I think that she is pixelized becouse the song is called 21st century "DIGITAL" girl... Make's sence.

  • Okay, now this is just pathetic, If you are gonna cover something, fine Just Don't bloody cover a song with a meaning and Senisble lyrics

  • boooo

  • Dirty bastards. Every last one of them.

  • was soll der scheiss das is net groove coverage, irgend son scheiss cover, 21st century digital girl is techno un keine punkscheisse verdammt ihr scheiss naps

  • was soll den der scheiss, der Song ist von Bad Religion was soll den dieses bilige Techno Cover

  • What a crap!!!

21 Century digital boy is one of the best Punk Rock Songs of all time and this is just a cheap copy.

If you want to make stupid thrash techno music, ok. But never ever cover a band again which makes real music with sensible lyrics.

  • Groove coverage zeszło na psy. Fajans...

  • pussy cat.???

  • what the fuck?! ..why pussycat? ..i dont like this version :/ i dont know why, but i have like more rmx

  • Ok so what if some people like what other people call 'gay'.. it's their taste. Is it 'gay' to have taste for something you like? No because the people who call this 'gay' have taste too.. and they aren't 'gay' Right? >:D

If you don't like it, fine, but don't call the people who DO like it gay, ffs it's just their sense of taste

Btw good song (ohh now I'm so totally gay heah =.=)

  • I agree with you, but the reason People don't like this song is cos It's a cover of a really good song by Punk band bad Religion.

  • I agree wtih you completely, this version is horrendous. I normally like Groove Coverage but this is intolerant. Why is the singer pixelated?

  • my favorite song!!!!

  • What

  • why'd u fucking watch the vid then?!

  • Covering Bad Religion? FUCKING FAIL!!!

  • Seriously....HTF can anyone try to cover BR??? Especially miss all the points of the orig! This pissed!

  • I agree. I was at a bar one night, this song came on, and I was tappin along to it not realizing what it was, and then the chorus kicked in.. My thoughts were "Oh, Jesus...". I was dumbfounded...

  • yeah its like...hmm this is familiar wait a second....oh no they didn't...they couldn't...they did X(

  • Well, god bless you can walk into a bar and hear any version of this song. In the US we get 2 year old rap music or 10 year old country music in most of our bars and thats it.

  • słabe...

    O.x

  • Great melody!!!

  • I like Bad Religion, and I thought this cover was funny. Not bad, just come on... don't take it seriously. It's just a song.

  • fuck u

  • ni un brillo

  • this is just horrible, 21st century digital boy is way better

  • I love this song but whats with the Blur Censore thing?

  • What band does this cover? PLEASE tell me. I've been trying to find out for like... weeks.

  • Groove Coverage is cool
