In my younger days, my friend could never read or pronounce 'Heihachi' and used to call him 'Helmitch' which is subsequently what we all came to call him. Therefore in this game Jinpachi was always known as 'Super-Helmitch' lol

There are very few things that disappointed me the way tekken 5's story did, their "explanation" for how heihachi survived was so half baked i couldn't even believe it.

think about the time when heihachi dropped kazuya off the cliff and he survived. or the time when he dropped him in a volcano... and he still survived.

Well, kazuya survived because the first time he made a deal with the devil and the second time the devil gene saved him. Heihachi(who unlike kazuya is a normal human) survived a building leveling explosion and they didn't even try to give an explanation.

Besides what your saying doesn't change the fact that they really didnt try to explain why he survived which was really disappointing cause that was one of the things i was looking forward too.

Tekken 5 is awesome, because of the story, almost everyone's story made since. Even the ones in Dark Resurrection. Tekken 6 was good but there were three things wrong with it.

1: The story barely made since. (I don't care what nobody says, Kazuya and Jin are evil, Heihachi is the only decent one there. Except for Jinpachi.)

2: There was no Interludes, at all. (There was speeches in Scenario Campaign, but still.)

3: Anti-Climatic Endings! (All of them barely made since.)

I'm sorry but, "Path of Neo" was superior to the movies. In hindsight, chop socky flicks are better than the matrix. Again sorry to matrix fans but, I will ask all of you martial arts fans out there, to compare the FORM, the CLEANLINESS OF TECHNIQUE of modern martial art action stars, to stars of the 70's and 80's. Their form was clean and polished, and, again the fighting was fake, but the skill wasn't.

Heihachi was thrown down a cliff and blown up, and he lives.  Kazuya gets thrown into a volcano, and he lives. That I recall nothing bad has happened to Jin YET. Oh wait never mind; Ogre fucked him up when he killed his mother. He took blows from a creature able to lift 50 tons, and he lived.

You're right; the Mishimas seem to have superhuman stamina and an ability to take punishment.
