I was flown air ambulance from Coffs Harbour to Royal Hospital for woman in Sydney when my water broke at 24 weeks (in 1987) & I delivered at 30 weeks. I had a little boy 1450 grams & we bought him home when he was 39 days old & he never looked back he is now 23. Watching your clip & seeing all your photo's reminds me so much of the photo's I have of my son...they truly are little miracles...!
I am currently 28 weeks and I was recently given steroid shots for my sons lungs to develop. I am 1cm dilated and I keep getting contractions. I am on bed rest but it is a comfort to see that my little boy can make it through this. Thank you for the video.

I had twins prematurely. My little boy and girl are nearly ten months old now and the size of six month old babies. The doctor said they should catch up by the time they are two. That is fine. They can take their time catching up. They are blessings from God and more precious than I can describe.
i would like to thank you so much for this video.. i lost my baby at 28 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia (i knew something was wrong.. but no one was listening to me :(( ) i am also at risk of delivering my babies so early in the future.. ur video gave me hope.. my husband says if our baby made it to 28 weeks with neglect.. hopefully our future babies can make it longer with intensive care (it's after the fact, but what can we do)

Our little girl was also born after an emergency caesarian at 28weeks and 5 days after my diagnosed pre eclampsia. She only had a very low weight of 795 grams. We are very lucky that our little baby's are so healthy now!
I am 29 weeks and have been told my baby's head is engaged. I do hope that he stays in there till he is due but this is reasuring that if he does come early there is hope that he willl make it.
My sister was born 17 and a half weeks premature and she weighed 1lb 4oz.
After 8 months in the hospital we got her home but sadly at 10 months she died of cot death(Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) R.I.P Megan.

I hate Preeclampsia im 35 weeks pregnant and this is the 3th time i have preeclampsia My older daughters were born at 32-33 weeks I developed HELLP Symdrome with them too -at least this time i made it this far ....Im So Glad ur baby is doing Good ..... God bless him

He is a cheeky little monkey and so full of Love, and we wouldnt have it any other way!! @melbray this was truely amazing to watch. I went into labour at 28 weeks with my son and they managed to stop it. They told me he would not survive and if he would he would have many different things wrong. They managed to prevent my labout and i made it to 36 weeks. I am so happy to see a success story. I am just 8 weeks pregnant and petrified i might not be so lucky next time.
However after this i see there is hope your family is amazing x
Oh dear I understan and hear you. My son is still in the hospital 3 months old now. He was born at 28 weeks. He had a major headbleed and wound up with a shunt in his head. He was 2 pounds 10 ounces and is now almost 7 pounds. He is a fighter too. I cant wait to see the day when he gets to come home. Blessings to your family. Babies are such a miracle.

Nate is a fighter. Well done little boy. I also went through NiCU, Ty was 31wks 5days and was born at 1.395kg just over 3pounds. Fortunately he wasnt ventilated, was just fed by tube into his tummy. My 1st cuddle was when he was a week old. Watching your story was really touching and brought back memories. My sister has a high risk pregnancy 29weeks - has been in & out of hospital she maybe giving birth soon. I am assuming Nate is a big boy now... Hugs for him....
i almost had my baby at 26 weeks.. last week i was given atosoban infusion drip over 24 hrs an prayed that my contactions would stop an labour would not become iminent. thankfully they did stop. it's such a relief to see babys born so very premature who come out fighting. congrats an well done Nate for being a lil fighter :) xx

I am 28 weeks preagnant, and I saw ypur video, that reminded me when I had my first baby daugther. She was 38 weeks, but had problems duiring labor and had to stayed in the NICU for 15 days... I know your feeling. I am glad everything is great with your baby! My daugther is now 12 years old and very healthy, thanks to GOD!

Thankyou all for your beautiful comments! Nate is now 2 years and 4.5months old, and he is an amazing little man! So full of life and so so perfect. He is a cheeky little monkey and so full of Love, and we wouldnt have it any other way!! What a journey we've had but I wouldnt change a thing, his fighting spirit is still a part of his everyday life!! He takes life head on. He only knows one speed and thats running!!!xxx

@melbray this was truely amazing to watch. I went into labour at 28 weeks with my son and they managed to stop it. They told me he would not survive and if he would he would have many different things wrong. They managed to prevent my labout and i made it to 36 weeks. I am so happy to see a success story. I am just 8 weeks pregnant and petrified i might not be so lucky next time.
However after this i see there is hope your family is amazing x

Oh dear I understan and hear you. My son is still in the hospital 3 months old now. He was born at 28 weeks. He had a major headbleed and wound up with a shunt in his head. He was 2 pounds 10 ounces and is now almost 7 pounds. He is a fighter too. I cant wait to see the day when he gets to come home. Blessings to your family. Babies are such a miracle.

wow did that bring back memories and I sure did cry. what a beautiful boy! my hubby and i went through the same journey with alex (28 wkr). i was not prepared for the roller coaster, but thank god he is healthy and perfect! it all will be ok. congratulations!

Nate is a fighter. Well done little boy. I also went through NiCU, Ty was 31wks 5days and was born at 1.395kg just over 3pounds. Fortunately he wasnt ventilated, was just fed by tube into his tummy. My 1st cuddle was when he was a week old. Watching your story was really touching and brought back memories. My sister has a high risk pregnancy 29weeks - has been in & out of hospital she maybe giving birth soon. I am assuming Nate is a big boy now... Hugs for him....

i almost had my baby at 26 weeks.. last week i was given atosoban infusion drip over 24 hrs an prayed that my contactions would stop an labour would not become iminent. thankfully they did stop. it's such a relief to see babys born so very premature who come out fighting. congrats an well done Nate for being a lil fighter :) xx

What a beautiful family!
I am 28 weeks preagnant, and I saw ypur video, that reminded me when I had my first baby daugther. She was 38 weeks, but had problems duiring labor and had to stayed in the NICU for 15 days... I know your feeling. I am glad everything is great with your baby! My daugther is now 12 years old and very healthy, thanks to GOD!

What a wonderful journey. My baby is having some complications and these type of videos inspire me to feel positive. Thank you for posting this. Also - my favorite picture was of your two children in the bathtub! How sweet and tastefully funny - the butt pictures, LOL! I'll have to remember to do that for when my family gets to that point.

i know exactly what you two went through and i was the same as you my first son was born at 28.5 weeks and he was 2 pounds 10 ounces and he made it and is now fixing to be 4 and is just like the other kids his age. so just give him time to grow he will get there. i will pray for you
