A quick search will give you some sources. Some estimates are as high as 65 million people. Its important to remember that the Inquisition wasn't confined to Europe but also south and central America. The truth is we'll never know how many people were tortured to death because many history books have been suppressed (for violating Roman canon law) and others have been completely destroyed. Its fair to say Rome's Jesuit priests have whitewashed the Inquisition from the pages of history.

Correction: The genocide in Ireland took place between the years 1641-1649. Christians were brutally and mercilessly slaughtered in the most gruesome manner. Pregnant women were tied to trees and the husband was forced to watch as her belly was sliced open and their unborn baby fed to dogs in front of them. People were crucified etc. One or two contemporary writers gave their accounts of the genocide but the books have since been taken out of all local libraries.
Its worth noting that many more Bible believing Christians (Protestants) would have been killed if they hadn't fled Europe. For example, after the genocide in Ireland, many Ulster-Scots (Scotch-Irish) fled to the America in the 17th century where they founded the USA. Dutch Protestants fled to South Africa, all to escape the Inquisition.

What, you believe Boettner and all his crap? The Inquisition, while riddled with abuses, was, as responsible scholarship confirms today, not the ubiquitous, murderous institution Protestant propaganda portrayed it as. In its over four hundred years of existence, the Inquisition sentenced to death about 3000 people (6000 if you count the Spanish one). The secular courts were much, much worse.

A quick search will give you some sources. Some estimates are as high as 65 million people. Its important to remember that the Inquisition wasn't confined to Europe but also south and central America. The truth is we'll never know how many people were tortured to death because many history books have been suppressed (for violating Roman canon law) and others have been completely destroyed. Its fair to say Rome's Jesuit priests have whitewashed the Inquisition from the pages of history.

These tortures took place all over Europe, most of them after the Protestant Reformation. Christians were often burned with the Bible around their neck. The main torture was to burn people at the stake. Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Holland, British Isles etc. In the year 1641 for example, between 12,000 and 300,000 Bible believing (Protestant) Christians were massacred in Ireland, it was all orchestrated by Jesuit Priests.

Protestants take the Bible as our doctrinal foundation. Christ's message was one of love and unselfish giving. You can't blame Protestantism for criminals being hanged. The Pope's of Rome were the ones who tortured people for their religious beliefs.

Since the Holy Scriptures were sritten by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21) the Holy spirit alone can fully explain them. You have to be a spiritual man if you expect to have power as a preacher. If you understand the Oracles of God, it will be through the power and teaching of the Holy Spirit.

Are you implying that the anti-Christ will come in the future? Futurism is a Jesuit/Vatican doctrine designed to divert attention away from the fact that the Roman Papacy is the anti-Christ of Scripture. Futurism is Rome's attempt at duping people into beliving the anti-Christ will come in the future as one man, rather than a dynasty already here. The 16th century European Reformers didn't agree on everything but they were all agreed that the Papacy is the anti-Christ.

Correction: The genocide in Ireland took place between the years 1641-1649. Christians were brutally and mercilessly slaughtered in the most gruesome manner. Pregnant women were tied to trees and the husband was forced to watch as her belly was sliced open and their unborn baby fed to dogs in front of them. People were crucified etc. One or two contemporary writers gave their accounts of the genocide but the books have since been taken out of all local libraries.

Its worth noting that many more Bible believing Christians (Protestants) would have been killed if they hadn't fled Europe. For example, after the genocide in Ireland, many Ulster-Scots (Scotch-Irish) fled to the America in the 17th century where they founded the USA. Dutch Protestants fled to South Africa, all to escape the Inquisition.
