make sure you tap the 2 inch brush, sort of pushing the paint like Bob, even look at the end of it and make sure it isn't blobbed up in the brush hair. you've done a great job though, oh it doesn't take a great deal of paint either.
Well, ya did it again! Wonderful painting! Yep, I'm going to try painting once again. I believe I will start off small, then work my way up to a larger size painting. Now I wont be showing off my amateur stuff on youtube. But I will try to start making videos. I'm a little cam shy. I shall overcome this shyness!!!
I suffer from the same shyness... My first step was to tape the drawings, next step was to speak in the videos... I guess the next step will to actually be on the videos... but that one is a ways off :)
Something to think about: don't start *too* small. I actually think working small can sometimes be more difficult that working a bit bigger (within reason, of course). A bigger canvas gives more breathing room and room for details.
Would love to see your work when you are ready. :)
i just hope you know how profoundly you annoy the vast majority of us who cannot paint nearly as good as you when you say that THAT was a 6.5/10. really. it makes me want to take a piece of driftwood and smack you repeatedly over the head with it.
hey...hey...hey... can u maybe possibly draw me in the impeding future? cus...cus...cus... u havent really drawn children in ur portraits and...uh...i think it would be good practice for you? :D please? it would mean a lot to me. trust me, it would.
I've always liked this about your artwork, but you have a natural talent for blending, which IMO can make or break an artist. Very beautiful and serene
Thank you Ayden for the wonderful comment! Blending is fun, it's those darn details that seem to be eluding me at this point. I'll get it though! Thanks again for stopping by and watching!
Now that is the million dollar question. I don't know what to do with these paintings, especially while they aren't dry... Right now they are starting to collect in various spots throughout the house. I'm afraid that may be a problem as I continue to practice...hehehe.
If I get to a point where they are decent looking, i wouldn't mind selling them for sure. I think that's a bit off yet though.

If you look like a tree or a mountain then you are in luck... otherwise it may be a bit before I get to that level of expertise! :-)

AH! You go girl! Look at you, how you've improved already! This is awesome. I'm so glad you are painting, now.

I did feel a bit better about this one - but considering it was only a few colors and not too busy, I don't think it was too much of a stretch yet.
I am definitely enjoying the better sense of freedom that painting seems to bring. It's definitely a nice change of pace from pastels.
Have I told you lately that I adore you?

awesome what do you do with all your finished work?
