@damianneff81 Its an A%, the main gun is missing over a meter in calibre Length of the L55 which was added to the A6, not the A5.

@damianneff81 I did not say 155mm lol. There are two measurements for a gun, bore which is 120mm on Leopard 2 and calibre length. Leopard 2A6 is calibre Length 55. All leopard 2 before the A6 upgrade were calibre length 44. you can see that this is a Leopard 2A5, as it has the calibre Length 44 main gun. Leopard 2A5 is called KWS II. I write about tanks for a living and my research comes from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. The link to my Leopard 2 page is info under the video.

@damianneff81 Leopard 2A5 does exist, and it is exactly what is in this video. The gun is missing quite a length for this to be an A6, because it doesnt have the L55. So........ this means it has the L44, so logically, since the 2A5 has the MEXAS addon armor and is armed with the L44

Also, the shorter barrel is more appropriate for urban fighting anyways

But Leopard 2A4M CAN is where its at for an inservice tank equipped for urban fighting, also tried and proven.

There was an Leopard 2A5 ;) It is the same as the 2A6 but still with the L44 gun. Later the L55 gun was attached and so it was called 2A6 and then Mine protection 2A6M. Leo 2A7+ is still experimental and not in the troop. I was a PzGren and was fighting with Leopards i know what i am speaking from. That Leo is and 2A5 in the video.

Des is insofern sogar äußerst beeindruckend, weil soweit ich den Sound rausgehört hab, wurde da mit nem MG 3 geschossen, entweder vom Panzer aus, oder von einem Infateristen. Das Ding haut 1200 oder mehr Kugeln pro Minute raus. Die Deutschen haben sich hier aber völlig korrekt verhalten und den Überlebenden nach dem Feuergefecht ärztlich versorgt.
