H&H gunrange is crazy. i don't know if they hire part time cops or what. i had a young guy behind the counter go off on me for wearing soft armor. he kept saying people who own body armor is up to no good. kinda likeliberals who say people who own guns are up to no good too. he made a big scene. i just stood there shocked a gun range would isse eye and ear protection but nothing 4 your heart and lungs. i think they should be liable for not issuing body armor as well. i would never go there again

I'm very familiar with this range and usually go there when I shoot. They have a 2 second (one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand) rule for rifle calibers and they are very strict with it. I think they take it too far but it's their range and their rules. Like everything else in our society, it's dumbed down to the lowest common denominator.

Neither. I've seen a couple people lean to their dominant side while firing, and generally, those people can shoot faster and better than me... so it may just be an easy way for him to control the recoil... if that makes sense at all....
They are *supposedly* ambidextrous, but I wouldn't count on the deflector to keep brass out of your face. Better to shoot off-hand or in a modified grip if your going to shoot a righty left-handed. I've seen plenty of left-handers shoot with their left on the grip, and their right on the fore-end, but on the right shoulder. It feels a bit... odd at first, but I got used to it pretty fast. I'd still rather shoot right-handed though.
The range probably has a policy of no rapid-fire. Many indoor ranges require that you control your shots (e.g. don't shoot at the target holder/track) and people doing rapid fire are more likely to shoot those sensitive parts of the range.

My guess is it was over rapid fire. He wasn't waiting the 2-3 seconds most ranges make you wait between shots. It started getting good to him and he started shooting faster. Ranges need to update there backstop so people can rapid fire. 1 place out here has.

Theres a range here where u can only load one round at a time! Rifle rounds that is. They say it protects their backstop. But they already make you shoot JHP or soft points.
It seems to me their rule about firing speed might have something to do with muzzle control and protecting their range equipment (I've seen people shoot target cables and pulleys down before, so I can understand)...but looking at the video a few times I dont see a problem.
Any gun range with any speed limits on shooting isn't worth giving money to. I hate H&H. A lot of the people that work there are assholes on top of their stupid "2 second" rifle policy.

The rifle jerked right every time. Not sure if it's from the piston, operator error, or both.
Most ranges don't care about rate of fire unless you are the only shooter. Get 12 people in there, and ammo dump all you like.
The RO was just being a turd because it was on film. 2 sec per shot is the normal rule.
