yea talk to a tuner about removing the limiter, i have a 1.7 2005 civic and the fastest i can go is 180km as well with the limiter so it's probably gov't regulated
the limiter is software so you have to get the ecu tuned to remove the limiter call around to find ecu tuners call mechanics and find out if they know where u can have it done

my friends stock honda civic coupe 1994 with 1.5 can get speed ower 200km/h, not more
