when i was little i would believe shes rip my bloody arms off if i didnt tune in lucky im older now and have the series on dvd.but that voice still gets me. hehe
yes it was classic tv, The channel 9 boat the bionic football team. Does anyone remember The Off Show with Rod quantock more classic TV it shits all over that trash you seppos try to pass of as entertainment
Pity it wasn't the whole song. This is from season 2. Aunty Jack never ripped off Python, because when it was written and screened, Python had never been boradcast in Australia. Peter Weir helped write some of the sketches.
At the time ?1972- this show was cutting edge. The videos- finally available- surprised me. I did not think the show would hold up as well as it does. It borrows from Python- but is less brutal.
This was a seminal show in the development of the aus comedy sesnibilty.Sort of an Aussie monty Python.
