I remember when this song came crashing into the top ten pushing every great artist aside. The bass line is incredible, Levi Stubbs commanding vocals came from every radio & their arrangement is impeccable. Motown...what a concept. It had a groove that penetrated your pores. Everybody loves motown, no matter how old you are, because it never lost it's touch, it gives you that warm nostalgic feeling like you live that time even if you were born after this era. And this song is really the best Motown song, it touches you right in the soul. The Four Tops are really an underrated group, not only in the realm music in general, but in R&B as well. It's like when the greatest groups of all-time are mentioned, somehow people manage to neglect the greatness of such immaculate and classy musicianship known as "The Four Tops". We have to do better with teachin the next generation what real music is, perhaps then history can repeat itself and real musicianship will once again rule the air waves.
