  • DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO CLEAN A SEARS MODEL 200 TED WILLIUMS SPECIAL I DONT KNOW HOW TO TAKE THE FIRING SYSTEM OUT OF THE ACTION TO CLEAN! PLEASE HELP!

  • @Waynside It is identical to a Winchester 1200. I would Google either one of those names and in the Google search, ask for a manual. There will be one, I promise. In the manual you will find all the answers you are seeking. thanks. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 thank you kind sir! i spent like two hours trying to figure out how to take this thing apart it was my first pump action shotgun field strip clean and this old girl was DIRTY!

  • @Waynside Glad you got it figured out. I will try and do some more shotgun disassembles. I will do them as used shotguns come in the store but most break down very similar. They are a few differences but not all that much. Thanks and now you will be able to do it every time. : )

  • What's the finish on that shotgun called ? I like it great video thanks

  • @Shottacle Thank you for the kind words. The finish is called a Marinecoat, I will find out exactly what Mossberg calls it and let you know. Thanks. : )

  • Will this work for ANY pump action shotgun? A Savage 20 gauge that's 40 years old?

  • @ben191209 For the most part yes. There are differences and older guns may take more lube but for the most part, they are all very similar. I would not treat a 40 year old gun the same as a new modern. I hope this helps and thanks. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 Thanks! Me and my dad are going to clean it today!

  • Wish I had found this video weeks ago! I took my Mossberg apart after having not touched it for almost a year, for no real reason, and struggled a full afternoon trying to put it back together. Actually, I figured it out through trial by error and repeatedly messed it up, do you think I've ruined the gun, or are they pretty forgiving of rough treatment?

  • @goodnamestaken If you put everything back correctly, unless you bent parts or damaged them in any way, you should be fine but take it to the range and run it through its paces. let me know how it went. Thanks. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 I've cycled a few rounds through it and it feels fine, but I just can't remember where I'm supposed to oil it! Will definitely let you know, thanks a lot for this vid I'm definitely saving this one.

  • This is my reference video when I have trouble re-assembling my Mossberg 590.

  • @recordmanful Wow, I really appreciate that. I also have Mossberg reassembly video up that you may want to check out and thanks again. : )

  • Great vid man!

  • @islandsoljahz Thank you, I really appreciate you watching and commenting on it. : )

  • What about grease? Other than putting a coat of oil on everything, do u grease any parts

  • @Iancwilliamson I do use grease with certain guns but not on my pump. I have a way I do things and I don't know really how to explain them to you . lol. I use grease on many of my guns but also do not use it on many.lol. Thanks, maybe a video will be in order to try and figure a way to explain how and why I do things. Thanks. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 you really don't have to use both, it's kind of over kill yeah?

  • @PowerViolenceForever Not sure what you mean. I think grease is needed in certain areas and oil would be better in other areas but I never put oil and grease on the same part. Thanks for the input, I read all comments and all are welcome. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 Hmm I was just wondering if it was a preference to use grease or oil. I figured you could use oil on the whole gun, but as you said you believe it's necessary to grease some and oil others. I have a mossberg500 and have always used oil, just making sure I'm doing it right.

  • @PowerViolenceForever It is a preference and some I prefer to oil and others grease. lol. Whatever you are comfortable with is good, as long as it is protected, That is the most important thing. Thanks brother. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 thank you!

  • Hey... a marinecote 590! Don't see those very often these days =) Did yours come with those sights or did you add those?

  • @Dumak2 They came from the factory just like it is. I use to carry this on my boat, when I had one. lol. The sights are sweet, that is for sure and thank you. : )

  • I remember this vid from a while back. I really needed it last night as I changed my forend. I fumbled thru it. But at least I learned nice vid

  • @GlockPunisher1 Its an easy job once you do it a couple of times. Thanks brother, I love you screen name. : )

  • I just bought my first firearm, a Mossberg 500. This video was informative and helpful, not boring as you kept saying. Thanks and please make more disassembly/reassembly videos like this one. Cheers

  • @kenwells85 I appreciate the encouraging words. I have a bunch of diassembly videos up, maybe there are more that can help you. Thanks again. : )

  • thanks for the vid man i just got my mossy 590a1 and i love it getting the ontario m9 bayonet soon and the ballistol smells terrible lol

  • @MrGunoholic I am starting to use my Militec a lot more than the Ballistol. The Ballistol is great but it smells horribly and Militec is just as good if not better. IMHO. I would love to see it in a video bro... Congrats and thanks for commenting about it. : )

  • Thanks!!! Appreciate the instruction...

  • @flyontop I am the one who appreciates it. I thank you for your time to watch and comment on my video, it means a lot to me. Thank you.

  • Thanks appreciate the vid!

  • @seangti3 Thanks. : )

  • SUBSCRIBED!

  • @MuayThaiReaper101 Thank you, I appreciate it.

  • You said in another video that rust is a big problem where you're at. Try eezox. That stuff is like stainless steel in a can. Check this out:

    6mmbr.com/corrosiontest.html

  • @308CaliberJustice I will look in to it, thank you for the heads up.

  • @308CaliberJustice

Only problem with eezox is that it stinks...

  • @globaleyez

I didn't like the smell at first, but I got used to it eventually. I rather like it now.

  • @308CaliberJustice I love the smell of Hoppes, lol. I am notsure I will ever get used to the smell of Ballistol. Thanks.

  • Mike awesome video. You do some in depth videos on guns. I hope people appreciate all your hard work! Hope all is well! You are a great friend!

  • @Mr45Bullitt I look up to you Bill and have a lot of respect for you and every thing you say, so, this means a lot to me. Thank You Bill.

  • Oh man thanks for posting this Chrome I thought you had forgotten my request...as usual you rock...you are an asset to the gun enthusiast internet community!

  • @cybersamurai77 Thank you and I hoped it helped you even in a small way. I love doing these videos.

  • great vid, thanks for posting

  • @CanadianOutdoors Thanks for watching I really appreciate it. It is comments like yours that keep me wanting to make more. Thanks again.

  • hey i have a 500 and the pump seems to have some excessive play in it, it moves side to side quite a bit. The gun is new and has probably only had about 200 rounds through it. I have shot 3 other 500s and a 590 and neither of them do this. do you know what it could be? thanks

  • @tyler111991 I am not sure what would cause that, I will take a look at mine and see what the problem might be, maybe the action slides are not tight enough but I will get back to you on what I think it might be. I want you to know that it would be just my opinion because I am not an expert at all. lol. Thanks and talk to you soon.

  • what kinda site do u have on ur shotgun an do u have it on a rail ?

  • I think its time i went to the old gun shop and pick me up a new toy. Shotgun time!! Killer vid friend. 5 star as always!!

  • @AkMenace13 I think it is time too, go and get yourself a nice one and then write me back and let me know what you picked up. lol. Thanks for the kind words. : )

  • @ChromeFreak123 Let me know if u have any recommendations on a good one. Im new to the shotgun world. Thanx!

  • @AkMenace13 It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a home defense shotgun or a hunting shotgun, plus others like skeet. lol. You see where I am going with this. If you want a good home defense tactical type shotgun, I would go for what you seen in my video, the Mossberg 590 or any of the 500 series from Mossberg is great. The Remington 870 is another mainstay shotgun. I would get a 12 gauge and run 2 3/4 inch shells in 00 buck. I could name a few more like the Benelli, homework, lol

  • I am having that same problem, I have a lot of videos I have missed because of this. I have been so busy I have not been making many but hope to be able to start doing 2 vids a week. Thanks for contacting me bro...

  • nice to see ya out there sooting...something is wrong with youtube i have you and krazy45cat and plenty of others that are not showing up in my subs page so i can't see when you make vids!

  • Great video, and I love Mossbergs!

  • @fredhart I do to Fred, the whole 500 series to me is perfect, well as close to that as you can get. lol. : )

  • thanks for the video MIke!!! It was great as always!

  • @BeanDip0913 Thanks bro, I do appreciate as always.

  • When I heard "titty" I thought I was at theArmoryChannel !, LOL! To me the 870 looks a lot easier to disassemble but that's just me.

  • @jocephus44mag lol, nothing wrong with a little titty now and again. lol

  • excellent !! excellent !!! video Mike!!

  • @theARMORYchannel Thanks Pete I appreciate it.

  • I shot my Mossberg 500 for about 12 years before I broke it down completely. Now, I didn't shoot it that much (maybe around 150-200 shells), but it still ran perfectly fine. When I did break it down to that level, there was a lot of gunk that had built up over the years. Those Mossbergs are great!

  • @thebudgetarmory1 12 years, good God man. lol. I am glad you finally cleaned it. They will run even dirty, they are great firearms. Thanks.

  • I have a mosberg mavrick, it is a good gun and cheap, i think of it as more of a beater gun i shoot it all the time and only clean it once a year, it has been abused its whole life and keeps on takeing it.

  • @kysteelworker Mavericks are great. They are the GMC to Chevy, lol. They are tough firearms. Thanks.

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • @007TheReaper007 Love the stars.

  • Now if you could do both of my 500's... ;^{D>

  • @AppalachianFreedom I would love to do that for you, just drop at the house and they will be ready in a couple of days. lol. Thanks.

  • @TheFirearmsChannel Thanks Mike.

  • this should help me after i shoot my new 870. thanks

  • @SuperGhillie1 It is the way I do my shotguns but someone else might do theirs completely different. My way has worked great for me for years. Thanks.

  • Cool video. Do you like the smell of the Balistol?

  • @biguy525 As much as I love Balistol as a great gun lubricant and cleaner protectant, I think it smells like rotten feet. lol.

  • @ChromeFreak123 Rotten feet is probably the best description of the Balistol smell I heard yet. Its good, it works, but it sure does stink.

  • @famturn It does stink, that is for sure. lol.

  • Thumbs up!! May do a 870 video

  • @TheCromeShop I would like to see that. It is great to have you back making videos.

  • @ChromeFreak123 thanks man!! just sucks building up my viewers again. I like the feedback from the videos, getting 40-100 views dont give me much. I keep checking though!! lol take it easy

  • pretty cool!

  • @ArtisanTony Thanks you Sir. it is good to see you taking your children to the range. You are not only spending great quality time with them but also passing down a great American tradition. Thanks.

  • @ChromeFreak123 I appreciate you watching my videos!

  • you look like mel gibson

  • @smellyteonail21 I don't know how to take that. lol. Thanks, I guess, lol.

  • i have been debating getting a 590 for my personal home defense gun, would you recommend it?

  • @shady75boy I would recommend without any reservation. It is the ultimate home defense firearm. Shotguns in general, I think make the best home defenders.I get that question a lot, if I had one choice on a firearm to protect my home, what would it be ? I do not hesitate, a shotgun. Thanks.

  • fun to tear don the shotguns aint it!

  • @willwood487 I agree Derek, I love shotguns.

  • Just another great video from you!

    Nice gun too!

  • @ebomey Thanks and thanks. lol.

  • great video chrome gotta do it right or not at all so keep up the great work cant wait to see whats next godbless and take care

  • @redmule02 I am not sure what is next, lol. I have that 91/30 video I need to film and I have a ton of ideas, it is time that is hurting me but, it will happen. Thanks for the encouragement.

  • Excellent vid Chrome, thumbs up.

  • @1ILgunner Thank you, that means a lot to me.

  • That's a very nice looking shotgun Mike. Thanks for informative vid :)

  • @MyHollowpoint You are welcome. I love that the 590 Mariner model is got great protection from the environment but i would love to leave the finish on and maybe put some kind of overcoat on it. Thanks.

  • a titty?! more like a nub.. lmao! nice vid pretty much do the same to my 870...any clue when you will get a chance to make some 870 tigger group/bolt vids? i know i've asked you a bunch now.. sorry lol..

  • @HellbillyCuntryMusic Nothing wrong with a little titty every now and then, hopefully more now. lol. The only answer I can give you is, it is on the agenda. i am working so much that I can't really plan anything. I will do it when I can. They are pretty similar though. Thanks.

  • Cool video thumbs up!

  • @762Fanatic2 Thanks bro. and I plan on posting a few in the next couple of weeks with you shooting it, just wanted to make sure that was alright with you. lol.

  • @ChromeFreak123 No problem man give me a call some time I really want to give that mini mac a go and I'd like to take the mosin out on a real range again too
