  • Is there a difference between the NCE and Digitrax DT402 throttle / DT402D?

    Otherwise, nice facility!

Gibt es einen unterschied zwischen den Throttle von NCE und Digitrax DT402 / DT402D?

    Ansonsten schöne Anlage!

  • @DOTSAE

I am not very familiar with the Digitraxx system, but there are usually very small if any differences between the capabilities of different systems

  • @schul4

Thanks for the reply, This is something I've already thought of.

I use myself as a part of the DCC system, the two throttle from Digitrax. So that each can control the CVs of the programmers and the most diverse turnout decoders. As to 28 F-operate functions.

  • By chance what is the number for the speaker and decoder you used for the P42?

  • Awesome video! I love that switcher and the sounds on that P42 are sick! Keep up the great work!

  • Dude, switchers rule, you rarely see vids with switchers, so props for makin one. Diggin' this vid in particular cuz you put down some good camera work, and good production. Make an operating vid, switch out some stuff.....i could watch this stuff all day.

  • I use NCE, and digitraxx decoders, will decoder pro work for me?

  • @RailfanningRulez

Yes, Decoder pro has a list of basically every decoder made with constant updates of new ones. If you don't want to go through the process of looking for the exact naem, you can just press "read type". Although this is easy I have had it where some decoders are so similar it gets the wrong one. Even if that does happen, if its by the same company, all the CV's should be the same and it mostly wouldn't matter.

  • @schul4 how do i plug int the decoder to the computer if i can?

  • @RailfanningRulez

You have to get a cable from the computer, to the flat wire input (on the back of the NCE Powercab). You then adjust everything with the locomotive on the track from the computer

  • @schul4 sorry for all of these questions, but where can i get the cable?

  • awesome dude- love that SOO!

  • great video!!! nice sound mods

  • Nice engine. I enjoyed it. We used to have a couple of real ones running around Belvidere Illinois. Now I just see one once and awhile. I miss the C&NW as it is UP now.
