  • "We will be taxiing for a few minutes" seems more like "we will be taxiing until the end of eternity" at Detroit! :D

  • Great video!

  • was this aircraft wearing the more modern blue livery or the older grey livery when this was taken? Nice Vid btw :-)

  • @minimaddenfs9 blue livery

  • @trainfreak7745 Thanks!

  • Are they pumping the ATC into the cabin on the audio channels now? I was always under the impression it was taboo to scan the ATC frequencies while in flight or more importantly to ensure that ALL electronic devices are disable for departure and arrivals.

  • @IAmCanadianUK On United flights, you get to listen to ATC via one of the music channels.

  • @IAmCanadianUK I'm pretty sure the ATC was added during the editing stage of the video. You can find ATC archives online.

  • Beautiful sound and quality. Its always cool to listen to ATC from a passengers view. I fly for Sun Country Airines and my dads a United Airlines Captain. Best job around with the best office ;)

  • The aircraft that was following you was "Flying ship" what airline is that?

  • @CathayGuy - It was Flagship, which is Pinnacle Airlines.

  • @RyanVHS Thank you so much for clearing that out. I hear them all the time at Kennedy

  • awesome video! job well done!!

  • Great video how did you get the live atc for DTW while landing I thought live atc doesnt have dtw unless if u were using a handheld radio but other than that nice job.

  • Wow, excellent!

  • Is this an older video because I noticed the tower controller used "position and hold" rather than "line up and wait" and the phraseology was officially changed back in September 30, 2010 or a slip of the tongue perhaps?

Anyways great video thanks for posting, love the atc + wingview synced into one video

  • Fantastic video! Had to favorite it!

  • ...amazing

  • Great video!! How did you record the ATC?? Considering you couldn't of had been recording from the camera :) Please respond :)

  • @xXmand123Xx When I do it on my flights, I plug the audio jack from the armrest into a digital recorder (and with a Y-adapter into my headphones so I can listen along). Then, when I dump the video, I sync it up with the video. You can see some of those on my channel.
